The staff were very friendly and helpful - the bed was a utilitarian bed and not comfortable but expected for the hostel experience. It was excellent otherwise

Stayed in the Hydro for the night, wandered into town and went to 3 pubs, Tappit hen was excellent, as were the other 2 - The riverside and the Village Inn which was full of locals later on, bit of chat and a sing song, no drama.

Dunblane itself is not over-endowed with facilities but it is an excellent base for exploring Scotland. It takes 60 minutes to reach Edinburgh or Glasgow by train. It is a reasonable drive to Loch Lomond and a longer but beautiful drive to Inverness. It is wet and cold, but so is everywhere else in Scotland!
There is an excellent restaurant "La Cucina" in neighbouring Bridge Of Allan, only 15 minutes away.

We’ve been to Dunblane on a couple of occasions but this is the first time we’ve stayed. We ate at the Riverside restaurant and the food was good. Not a huge menu but adequate. Walked from our accommodation into Dunblane. Love going into the beautiful Cathedral. If going by car there is adequate parking. Can’t think of anything we would see as negative.

Dunblane appears to be a friendly city.
Dunblane appears to be a friendly city. With a beautiful cathedral , numerous small craft and curio shops.
Part of the high street was disappointing, which needed tidying up . And a fresh coat of paint.
I would go back to Dunblane, The majority of the city . Is stunning. and only four miles from Stirling castle.

Dunblane is a small town, very centrally located, close to Stirling and the Lochs and Trossachs. It is almost equidistant to Edinburgh and Glasgow ( approx 1 hour to each city) so everything we wanted to see/visit was not too far away. There is also a regular bus network linking Dunblane to other interesting places in the area.
It has good restaurants, we highly recommend The Riverside - Pub, Cafe, Kitchen.

A great hotel to stay in, The breakfast and dinner was great, This is our second stay here and would stay here again. The pool was closed for maintenance when we stayed which was a shame as we would have used this facility. The staff make you very welcome from the moment you arrive.
Dunblane is a lovely town.
Val’s apartment was perfect for a short stay in Dunblane, warm, clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen, overlooking the main street and river, was big and well equipped. The flat is only a short walk from the station, shops, library and cathedral: we had a great stay there.
We love everything about this hotel, its a stunning building in a gorgeous location. The rooms are large and comfortable, the breakfast was great and a huge choice. We had dinner in the Kailyard and Nick Nairn was there so spoke to him, an extra wee bonus
The property has been finished to a high standard and is situated in an excellent location in Dunblane, close to the town center and the Laighhills. It also boasts a pleasant back garden.
The location was great, right in town, opposite the cathedral and close to nice river walks.
The rooms were small (as advertised) but had everything you would expect in a modern hotel.
