Absolutely brilliant location for exploring around Loch Lomond.
There was plenty of parking on site and a Spar just across the road which was great for getting lunch for a day out.
The food in the restaurant on site was excellent and the bar was very friendly.
The cooked breakfast each morning was incredible.

Clean room and modern bathroom, very friendly host giving us restaurant recommendations.
The breakfast was also very good!
A lovely wee place to visit. We stayed so we could visit the Falkirk Wheel and Kelpies but many come for the outdoor activities. Plenty of coffee shops and bars. The Thursday night Pipe Band is brilliant.

Ideal location for exploring Loch Lomond and in easy reach of the trossachs! The village has independent shops for food and provisions plus a very good pub! There's a lovely path immediately opposite the Buchanon Arms approx 200m leading to a viewing area with benches to look out on the trossachs!

Nice visit if get right accommodation.
Nice visit if get right accommodation. Unfortunately we stayed at the Buchanan Arms Hotel, and I have uploaded a bunch of photos of our supposedly SUPERIOR KING room - 2 singled beds pushed together.
The Mill House is lovely to go to for drink and meal. nearby hotel entertainment is on in local pubs.

I've used this hotel on numerous occasions over last 20 years. Mainly 1 or 2 nights. I like the village of Drymen. Great location for food and drinks and access to the great outdoors.
The hotel staff are always helpful and friendly. It has a good pool, gymnasium and spa. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast.
Location is fantastic, beautiful village, easy to find despite one of the roads being closed. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
Food and drink prices were ok, dinner was nice although a small choice menu.
Easy access to Loch Lomond and surrounding areas, shop and cafe right across the road.
Stayed here whilst walking the west highland way and it was perfect. Staff at check in were incredibly helpful and polite, our room was beautiful and our bed was very comfy with lovely feather duvets and pillows. Breakfast at the Drymen Inn was fantastic.
Great location and cottages. We had to improvise on our arrival in Scotland and were lucky to find this place. Fantastic tranquil location if you’re visiting the Trossachs and Loch Lomond area. Cottages are modern and very well equipped.
