What a lovely place ! superb view, quiet ! this is a charming place within 10min drive from Dores. A great place to stay on our tour of the loch Ness.

Reception and checking-in were fine. We booked a cottage which was just a 1 min drive away. First impressions were good as it's clean and quiet as it's separate from the main hotel. The only gripe was that we asked for a walk-in shower as one of my party had mobility issues. That was sorted but I didn't realise that the main bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs which defeated the point of having a walk-in shower. The stairs were carpeted etc but a tad on the steep side. It caused us an issue but as it was only 1 night, it wasn't a disaster just a pain.
On the positive side, it's a gorgeous cottage.
We had dinner the hotel which was very nice albeit expensive for Inverness (roughly 100 a head)
Would I stay again? yes but maybe the cottage next door if it has no stairs.

The food was good and the price very reasonable
Perfect peaceful setting yet easy access to Inverness and surrounding area. Delightful , huge room with stunning views of the countryside . Breakfast room also had fabulous views . Guest lounge to relax in after sightseeing. Knowledgeable friendly host who even took us to and from local inn . Fabulous find and perfect for a few mindful days away from the stresses of everyday life . Lots to see within an hour of the area and more beyond . Highly recommend and will definitely return .
Everything. The care Marsalli puts in to the home and her guests is next level. I wish we could have stayed for a week. Our room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was phenomenal (may I recommend the porridge?) and the animals all over the farm and house were a welcome treat. If you’re looking for a warm, Scottish country experience close to Inverness and all it offers, you must stay here.
This is by far the best bnb I’ve stayed on my Europe travels so far, bottom floor room so no climbing stairs making noise that wakes everyone and the bathroom was as big as the room, so no squeezing into a small shower. The look out from the bedroom door was an epic view of the Loch Ness (which I swam in)

We had a lovely couple if days. The host family are all extremely friendly inviting you into their beautiful home as if you are a relative. The room was gorgeous, well-equipped, clean, spacious with a comfy bed for a great nights sleep. The location is delightful just a short distance from Loch Ness and surrounded by amazing scenery. I thoroughly recommend staying here.
This was the perfect start and end to our NC500 trip, we received a lovely warm welcome, the room was perfect with everything you could need. The location by the side of Loch Ness was the icing on the cake. John even left a bucket and sponge next to the hose pipe ready for my other half to clean the car before we set off - it made his day, thank you 😊
This place was wonderful, super comfortable and immaculate. The owner/hostess was helpful, friendly and just fantastic. Close to Loch Ness, but just off the beaten path enough to be perfect. Excellent breakfast and the room was exquisite. I wish I could give it even more stars than 10.
The room was in immaculate condition. The host was charismatic and knows her stuff around. She provided some fascinating tidbits about the history of the place and the loch in general. The food and the views at nearby pub Dores Inn is also highly recommended.
I loved the location on Loch Ness with a gorgeous view of the lake! The breakfast was all delicious with good delicious coffee prepared! The owners are also super friendly and informative about the area! I very much enjoyed our morning chats over breakfast!

Great suggestions for the local area (dinner at Dores Inn), incredible porridge for breakfast, very comfortable room and the hosts were extremely nice. Much nicer than a generic hotel!
Beautiful spot right on Loch Ness! John and Fiona were lovely and provided such helpful tips on where to go and things to do. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Loch Ness.
