Allangrange Hotel near Inverness, hotel in Culbokie

Located in Munlochy, The Allangrange Hotel near Inverness features a garden free WiFi.

The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. I appreciated the tray of breakfast snacks and food left in the room for the morning. The young lady that showed us our room was very polite and friendly and made sure we were satisfied with the room before she left.

My single room was very clean and well appointed, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Both dinner in the evening and the breakfast were excellent. Overall good value and I highly recommend the Novar Arms. Also, it was great to find a hotel with some single rooms available.

Nothing, didn’t actually stay there. Tried to cancel booking as had tried to contact them on over 6 times to book a meal but no one answered. Sent an email and didn’t get any response either. Didn’t want to turn up to find no room as booked months ago. Tried to complain through Booking.com but had no help from you either. Poor all round

Beautiful little lodge with everything you could need, cozy, warm and tastefully decorated. Lovely private veranda to rear for sitting out if weather permits, just a lovely peaceful retreat. Hostess Liz went the extra mile bringing us tasty fresh produce, ie freshly baked bread, milk, fresh eggs from her free range chickens, also salad and strawberries from her market garden, such lovely touches to make it a very special experience, we will certainly be back thank you Liz ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Culbokie is situated right next to the new road, perfect for heading north. It's between Inverness and Dingwall and not far from the main road to the west. The view across the Cromarty firth is good.

Culbokie was a perfect base for us being not too far from the A9 which enabled us to drive easily to Inverness, Nairn, Chanonry Point etc. So quiet, restful & comfortable with well-equipped kitchen. Very friendly host who, though living next door, we didn't hear at all.

Very spacious and warm, welcoming and a joy to stay in.

Very spacious and warm, welcoming and a joy to stay in. Kitchen was very well equipped and clean. Bedrooms good size with en-suite toilet and sink. Pet friendly with a fenced garden for dogs. Plenty of walking areas, some will require a drive to get to. No shower in en-suite – all main washing amenities were downstairs. T.V was rather small for a large area. Garden area had a small wooded copse and was difficult to clean up after dog as it was a little unkempt. Directions to property must be improved – All 3 family members (arriving at different times, had major difficulties finding the place)

The peaceful, secluded location is ideal for unwinding.

The peaceful, secluded location is ideal for unwinding. Facilities in the village are limited to a small Spar shop and one restaurant that is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Definitely need a car to get around and to explore the area.

Lovely location, a good base for visiting the Black Isle.

Lovely location, a good base for visiting the Black Isle. The property needs to be cleaned properly thgough as the oven and pots and pans were dirty, so were the windows. There were some things in a state of disrepair. It was a shame because it could be a really nice place to stay but we were put off by the lack of cleanliness.

Culbokie is a lovely quiet village providing a gateway to the beautiful Highlands, with a charming looking pub and well stocked shop. As we visited during Covid, we were only able to sample the pub's takeout food, and it was excellent
