Modern furnishings but retaining the character of the building. Received a friendly welcome. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice. Complimentary sherry and cake each afternoon were a nice touch.

Cromer is a nice little town very clean with a lovely church at its centre. Its an easy town to meander around taking in the shops, restaurants and ice cream parlours. We had six meals out, the order is how we rated them -
Gibson's Bistro, Masala Twist, Upstairs No.1, Garden street grill (reasonably priced home cooked food) and a Chinese takeaway. All were very nice

It’s a lovely quaint little place.
It’s a lovely quaint little place. Has a great theatre at the end of the pier. When the tides not in you can walk along the beach to beautiful Sheringham or the other way to the equally lovely Overstrand.

Cromer is a great place to stay, with access to so many places by local buses with the most patient good humoured drivers. The cafes and restaurants serve great local food presented with a smile.Narrow roads needing traffic patience. The summer show on the pier was really professional and my friends and I loved it.

Comer is a quintessential English seaside town, it was just a 20 minute walk from the Corner country club where we stayed. The end of the pier show is a must do in the summer. Lovely beach, a few fish & chip shops and plenty of cafes.

The pier is lovely.
The pier is lovely. We enjoyed a beer in the sheltered area as the sun was setting. There is also a end of pier show which we have seen previously and enjoyed as good old fashioned family fun. Lots of pubs and restaurants but at peak times its worth booking ahead. The beach is nice and sandy particularly at low tide with a gentle slope. We have now visited 3 times as we like the atmosphere and the cliff top walk

Very much changed since my last visit of 30 years ago.
Very much changed since my last visit of 30 years ago. Still pleasant along the coast walk and the pier. Quite steep slopes but accessible for those with mobility issues like me, but the promenade has plenty of little places to eat or to get coffee from.
Car parking is not cheap even disabled drivers have to pay.
Shops were not as good as in Sheringham which is a few stops down the rail line with regular trains even on a Sunday. Not all shops take card they want cash.
Had fish and chips on the sea front and ate at local cafes which were excellent.
A Brewery pub close to the station was great for those beer drinkers who like to try craft beers and different wines.
For a long weekend it was enough.
My wife and I are mature cyclists. We travelled around Norfolk using two Sustrans routes.
We stopped at five different hotels about 45 miles apart. Each hotel traditionally catered for other markets. All the staff we met on tour were friendly and helpful and all the hotels were clean. The Hotel de Paris was busy when we arrived hosting a coach party. The staff were very busy so perhaps we felt a little underwhelmed with the reception.
We were upgraded to Room7, a suite with sea views and a balcony which was absolutely incredible! The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was fabulous (with sea views!). We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the service and food was excellent for both meals. We managed to get a parking space in the hotel car park which was a bonus. The location is perfect for exploring Cromer.
I had an enjoyable stay in a well appointed hotel, with an excellent view. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was excellent and both the cleaning and service were fully satisfactory. I would recommend the Cliftonville Hotel to anyone visiting Cromer.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and good quality bacon and sausages.
The location of the hotel by the coast and close to the towns of Holt, Cromer and Sherringham. The bar area is warm and inviting with funky furniture.
Small but comfortable apartment with on site parking. Attractive setting and walkable into Cromer centre (about 20 minutes). Useful as a base for walking North Norfolk coastline.
