Location very good, very clean and all the space we needed. The bed a little cramped but we knew that beforehand from previous reviews. It was still comfy. We liked the fact the owner left us to our own devices and didn’t feel the need to welcome us and chat. We were tired after a long day cycling.

A great little place to explore Lairg and Assynt. Michelle was a very friendly host. The room was spacious and clean, and they left a little welcome bag of lollies. The house has a very cute cottage garden, some very friendly chickens and a dog. If you have breakfast included, bring your appetite! There's a shared kitchen that you can use to prepare food, as there's not much near by for dinner, just one pub that is short staffed, so not always open.

It's an impressive building, with a great view over the hills. The room was spacious, and we enjoyed being able to sit at the table by the window. A reasonable price compared to many other places in the area. We had a car and didn't mind that it's a bit in the middle of nowhere, but it wouldn't be suitable for anybody using public transport or who isn't happy to drive to a nearby town for food or supplies.

Loved it here. Really nice food and people. Room was just what we needed for a comfy overnight. Sat outside with a drink listening to the birds in all that perfect surroundings.

Place is spotless and very calm and contemporary - the host was fantastic. If I had one tiny little criticism it would be that being celiac there was no carb option, bread, roll or pastry. However Gunta cooked me a fantastic breakfast addi g plenty of what I could eat to my plate - maybe shove a gluten free loaf in the freezer guys ❤️

We loved the location and that we could easily explore the NC500 from here. It was so quiet. The scenery was beautiful, wonderful views of the mountains and loch. The hosts Anita and John were lovely, nothing was too much trouble for them. Would love to return in the near future.
