The place was super charming and perfect for us as we were going to the Greenman festival the next day which was a few miles away. We didn't see the hosts but we knew they were nearby if there had been any problems. Comfy bed and a beautiful location.

Absolutely brilliant. Very responsive host. Excellent location and great value. Clean and very comfortable. Right in the centre of Crickhowell. Although it says "no parking", Beaufort Street car park is perfect and within 30m of the property. The Bear pub across the street and a fish and chip shop 10m down the road. Great cooking facilities in the property. Spacious lounge and rooms. All look recently refurbished. Bath and shower spotless. Can walk straight into the hills from the door. Pet friendly. Fantastic, highly recommend.

A delightful country town amidst superb scenery.
A delightful country town amidst superb scenery. It has history, plenty of places for refreshment - coffee, fish and chips and the Bear Hotel which is excellent and has to be visited for it's architecture alone ! Also a couple of shops that are outstanding including a magnificent hardware emporium plus an interesting art gallery/ Information centre.
A first rate introduction to the Brecon Beacons

Great place for a sto off on a motorbike trip around tha Brecon Beacons. Shame that there was no slot for us for an evening meal, but The Old Rectory did fantastic burgers and beer.... but no triple room as required.

Crickhowell is a small village with plenty of places to eat (but be sure to book) and has excellent views.
The Llanwenarth hotel we are reviewing is not in Crickhowell and is on the main road towards Abergavenny.
A lovely building ideal for large groups. Generally noisy but with a very large group of youngsters at a bash there one can only expect some youthful exuberance!
Staff were without exception helpful and charming.
Breakfast was very good and bar prices seemed very reasonable.
Huge free car park.
Lovely country setting near Crickhowell with extensive views of the local Welsh hills.
Perfect accommodation for our last minute decision to get away from it all with a few days walking in the Brecon Beacons. A warm welcome from friendly host and staff; smart, clean and comfortable room; a good breakfast; and excellent Caribbean food at the pub in the evening. Try the goat curry and the short rib, both were delicious!
Very well laid out to and comfortably furnished. The Studio had everything we needed for our stay. The garage with washing machine was a bonus and perfect for longer stays. Great location a very short walk into Crickhowell. Will definitely stay again next time we are in the Brecon Beacons. Keith, the host, was very helpful.
A lovely little hotel situated a in beautiful rural area in Wales. Plenty of little or long walks in the beautiful countryside, depending on what you fancy. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was amazing.
