An amazing property with lovely view over the harbour and easy free parking. There is lots to do round about both in and near Eyemouth which is a pretty harbour town. We found it very relaxing which is why we stayed there. Loads of lovely eating places to sit in or takeaway. Had a very pleasant couple of hours one afternoon sitting in the sun enjoying the food and drinks at Oblo

Restful and relaxing. A great space to get back to nature and enjoy the company of others. Good base to explore other areas. The grey seal at Eyemouth was a great experience.
A very pretty location close to lots of places of interest.
A very pretty location close to lots of places of interest. The food and drinks at the nearest pub were reasonably priced and St Abbs was lovely. A day trip to Edinburgh is an easy drive and Holy Island is just down the road.

Enjoyed the village and walks to nearby St Abbs . Ate at near by pub - make sure you book as cooks disappear if not enough customers about. Venue had lovely grounds which I’m sure would be brilliant in the summer.

THE fabulous beach, the easy walk to At Abbs Harbour and the Smugglers trail to Eyemouth. The short drives to Cove, a beautiful quirky harbour, especially the means of getting there, the walk up to the lighthouse near Pettico Wick Bay, past Mire Loch(bring good boots wear appropriate clothing, bring your binoculars), to Partanhall and Cowdrait Harbours and the short distance to Berwick, (walk the ramparts). Good parking in town.

Coldingham is a small town with a lot of history - and a sense of pride of place. The Priory ruins are a must see and interesting in themselves. Coldingham Bay is excellent for short beach walks to exercise humans as well as dogs and St Abbs harbour and nature reserve are both a short distance away. In respect of the latter we didn't time our walk quite as well as we could have done so didn't see any seals - but we could hear bull seals very clearly bellowing at each other. Our hosts tell us that dolphins are also regular visitors for anyone who loves marine mammals. Coldingham itself is blessed with two pubs, sadly with restricted access and hours due to Covid, and in normal times both have a reputation for good food. A local general store, a Post Office, Butcher and antique/gift shop complete the picture - and the holiday camp bar/restaurant/fish and chip shop is available to non-residents. Anything else is available in Eyemouth - and if that's a problem then Berwick is a 15 minute drive (or less) from Eyemouth.

Excellent spot to base yourself to explore the area.
Excellent spot to base yourself to explore the area. There is public transport available but a car will let you get too and see more places. The nearby beach at Coldingham Bay is well worth a visit and there is a clifftop walking path to St. Abbs.
