The self sevice breakfast selection was superb. I enjoyed the quality of food and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The Merryburn - Rooms and Courtyard Studios is a few minutes' walk from Dunkeld and Birnam Railway Station at the gateway to the Highlands and is a listed Victorian building.
Situated in Dunkeld, Tay House is a self catering establishment with views of the River Tay. Tay House has a terrace at the back of the building with river views.

Blairgowrie is very pleasant and friendly. It is situated perfectly for longer stays as access to many of Scotland's magnificent scenery. The hotel is a well preseved exam ple of period hotels and the Victoria reflects the age of Victoria. Nicely decorated with examples of that bygone age.

The location is superb. Dunkeld may be small, but being right in the heart of it provided excellent travel connections and breathtaking scenery.
While we didn’t dine there in the evenings, the breakfasts were outstanding. The service was swift, the food delicious, and the ambiance ideal for starting the day right.
The highlight of our stay was the staff. From booking to departure, they were consistently pleasant, helpful, and proactive in ensuring our stay was perfect. On multiple occasions, I even saw staff assisting non-residents with directions and advice, showcasing their extraordinary commitment to hospitality.
This experience reflects not only the dedication of the staff but also the exceptional culture the hotel has nurtured over the years. The Atholl Arms Hotel and its team are truly the heart of the local community and a standout example of excellent service for visitors.

Bed was very comfortable. We were able to check in early for a fee. Room was spacious and good wifi. Great location and staff were friendly.
