Rooms very comfortable and most facilities good. Temperature of shower and hot water were difficult to control. TV in one of the rooms did not work.

There was no breakfast. I booked double room, but got only single room as the owner said there is a mix up. He provided a single room, fridge, shower room , kitchen all ok. The place is too far from my work place, too expensive to reach there from my work place, online it showed only 1.7 miles but it is too expensive by taxi.

Having lived in Medway towns throughout childhood and dad, uncles and cousins worked at Chatham Dockyard, it was on my bucket list. It didn’t disappoint. Well worth the visit. The guides are brilliant. You need a whole day to get round it all and don’t forget to book Call the Midwife tour in advance.
Excellent for wheelchair users.

I travelled for work. Focus was not on sightseeing. However, from previous experience, there are a wide range of restaurants/cafes. Rochester Castle, Historic Dockyard and Royal Engineer museum is not too far away.

We went particularly to spend a day visiting the Chatham dock yard. It was amazing in size and content. We learned a lot about its history and were fascinated in going on board three historic vessels there. The eating areas were very good and gave good choices even for Vegans! Plenty of parking under cover.

The Historic Dockyard was absolutely fabulous and well worth the visit. Give yourself the whole day to take everything in. There are some hidden gems, like The Command House' bar and restaurant and also the Hollywood Bowl restaurant and Bar.
Not entirely sure what to say about the town centre. Walking late at night through the town centre could be unnerving for some and during our 3 day stay we never saw a police presence on the streets. Lots of small groups of men gathered around.
Our stay at the Hotel was marked by luxurious comfort and exceptional waterfront views. The ambiance of the hotel is tranquil, perfect for those seeking a relaxing escape. The dining options were versatile and delicious, catering to all tastes. The staff's eagerness to assist made our experience truly memorable
Nice bright comfortable room on first floor. Excellent breakfast served by happy staff in bright sunny room with good marina views.
