The room was very clean and tidy..ironing board and iron, luggage rack..also in room bottle water, oat milk tea coffee hot chocolate and shortbread, bed very comfortable 😋
We ate at the hotel. The building is old which is a limiting factor despite the efforts of the staff. The highlight of our stay was a visit to Rosslyn Chapel but other than that there were none. Carlops is a very small hamlet with a population of about 80 people only. If you are travelling in East Lothian try and avoid B roads as they are pitted by potholes.
