The room was quite large and the bed was extremely comfortable with a big plump duvet. Reception was efficient and friendly. The room was great value. I didn't try the breakfast or the restaurant/bar but it looked lively. Free car park directly opposite.

The caravan heated up very quickly which was lovely. The beds were comfy. There was a good sized lounge area. It was easy to find and had parking next to the caravan.

Perfect for an overnight stay. Had everything you needed - Simple to access, good value for a group, and great for the dog with a dedicated walking area on site. Twin bedroom was compact but should be expected in a caravan, and perfectly adequate for a one night stay.

Good location. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet and private. Very clean and comfortable all round. Clare was a great host with incredible communication skills. She was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
Avery pretty location. With friendly staff and local residents. Food was very good. It is a good place to for a stop over when travelling elsewhere in England or Scotland. Some pleasant walks within the village. A most enjoyable stay.

Was initially just a layover on the drive from Edinburgh to London but turned out to be a nice, quiet place with some interesting history and kind people. I liked the church and graveyard, walk by the river and all the cute houses with flower gardens. There's a heritage walk too but didn't get a chance to do it. Stone's throw from Hadrian's Wall and Gretna Green for shopping and exploring. If you like peace and quiet, history and old buildings plus supporting small communities, definitely swing by.

Only stayed the night, arrived late evening and left early morning so don't know anything about the area - other than it was very quiet, and rural with no sign of much activity - however I just visited the hotel which was great

Canonbie is a small village with the Cross Keys hotel at the one end. It is a couple of hundred years old and full of character. Food was excellent and served by polite and obliging staff. They will cater for all types. (I am Diabetic and Coeliac). I would certainly stay there again. They are getting over the effects of Covid on the establishment but are making great strides in their recovery. They deserve your patronage.

A very pretty little village with great walks up and down the local river.
We found a cute little painted stone trail made up by local children with small and large hand painted pebble located all along the stone wall running by the river. Much fun to follow this and try to find them all.
