The rooms and house have a lot of character, and this is expressed beautifully in the interior design of the rooms and the whole house. The rooms and house match the photos to a T. The house is surrounded by fields and you definitely feel like you are in an Agathie Christie novel or movie set.
The room was exceptionally clean and the bed extremely comfortable. There was a kettle, tea, coffee and water provided. As it was our anniversary it was very touching to have prosecco provided too! (Thank
you :D) We had access to the entire floor, in addition to the room, so you are spoilt for space.
And to top it all off we had a lovely, generous breakfast that was served in the kitchen.

Rooms had been refurbished with good quality fittings, very comfortable bed and new bathrooms. We were given a room with lots of stairs, no other rooms available to change on the first night but were moved to the first floor to a very lovely room the next day. Excellent breakfast and kind and helpful staff.

Great selection of cooked breakfast. Good location for exploring the local area. This is a proper hotel not just a pub with rooms. All the staff were excellent especially the bar service.
