The room was beautiful. I didn't feel like I was staying in a weatherspoon pub. It felt like a 4* hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and professional. There was a good variety of drinks and biscuits in the room, even vegan milk and decaf options. There was free bottled water, served with ice and lemon, which was brought to the room on request. The bathroom was stunning, with a seperarate walk in shower. The location was perfect and central to the town centre.
When you do feel like food or a drink, it's a few steps down to the pub, where the food was fresh and lovely. Beth, even helped with some paperwork I needed printing, she was very kind and extremely helpful. I was blown away by how beautiful the room was and how kind and professional the staff were. Lovely place to stay.
