Impressive looking building overlooking the bay. We bagged ourselves a Seaview room and what a view it was. The room was large, and so was the bed. Nice bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
In the evening we ate in the hotel restaurant, the food and service were great and they were very accommodating when I requested gluten-free food. Nothing was too much. They had a local man playing the bagpipes outside early on and a singer inside later. If this isn't your thing then there was a lovely lounge area in the lobby that was so cosy.

Had a suite overlooking the sea which was spacious and complete with kitchen and lounge area.
Food was very good both for the evening meal and breakfast.
Bed was very comfortable giving a good night's sleep

Close to a small fishing harbour, The Old Inn has free parking and free Wi-Fi, near the Flowerdale Valley. The Old Inn is situated about 1.5 hours' drive from Inverness.

Great spot along the NC500. This place is spotless and run by a great team.
The onsite dining was very handy, after a day driving the incredible roads of Scotland's North coast.

Staff were great, the bar facilities and dinner facilities and menu were good. The breakfast was good quality. The view from the room over the loch was great.
