The breakfast was cooked to order with good ingredients. it was fresh and tasty. There was a good choice of fruit, cereals etc set out so you don't have to wait. Attractive dining room and all staff were friendly.
Situated in Mauchline, a 20-minute drive from Kilmarnock, Fairburn Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and home-cooked Scottish cuisine. The coast at Ayr is only 11 miles from the building.
Very expensive, the food and view is outstanding. Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Maybe a small fridge in the rooms especially the cabins would help keep cold drinks especially on hot days. All in all if you can afford there prices it will be worth it.

The setting of Enterkine House is magnificent. The hotel itself has changed so much since we last visited. The work to the hotel and grounds are still very much in progress, thus giving it the feel outside the main building, as a bit of a building site. However the interior of the main building and the new pods are lovely. We enjoyed staying in one of the pods. Staff very friendly and approachable. Really nice people.
We travelled by car. The location is in the country but near to Prestwick Airport and the town of Ayr. One would certainly need a car. Hotel reception beautifully set out. Staff helpfully, food excellent, room very comfortable, shower great plenty of hot water.
The hotel was wonderful. Stayed in the cabins, which were spacious, furnished to a high standard, and comfortable. The hotel facilities were excellent. Breakfast delicious, and staff were so helpful and friendly.
The hotel was
Lovely , staff were amazing , we were in a room in the farmhouses which didn’t suit and were immediately changed into the line lodge which was lovely
