This was just a short stay to visit family but we will certainly book again when we are in the area . The property is beautiful , with views over the fields . It feels very private and luxurious . The room was spotlessly clean , beautifully decorated and had everything we needed . Hospitality was excellent , great breakfast and wonderful hosts

I was so good at The Mill at Glynhir that we have booked again for this week. Everything was brilliant from the presentation of the property to the fabulous quality of the accomodation with its extra little touches, the huge breakfast selection and not least the owners Helen and Matthew. The locaion of The Mill outside of Ammanford is idyllic, Ammonford is not must go to town as you might say but a good base for the area around and further.

Pubs and restaurants within a couple of miles of our accommodation just outside Ammanford and supermarkets even nearer. The M4 was within 5 miles making travelling around very easy. The beaches around Gower are great for walking and Tenby and Cardiff around an hours drive.

We used Ammanford as a central place for visiting other sites which was ideal for us. It is a small town and does'nt have a lot of things to do there as it is not set up to be a tourist town, but there are some nice places to eat and it is a nice quiet town. From here we visited the Gower, The Breacon Beacons and other sites and found it very easy to reach these places without any traffic problems.

Because of our itinerary, we didn't get to see or experience much of the town but what we did experience was very positive. Wonderful location for us. Picturesque scenery in a country setting and loads of sheep! Would definitely return!
