Very welcoming. Lots of character and the food was amazing. It's fairly remote, on the edge of a small village, so don't think you'll just wander out for a drink and meal somewhere else. but why would you when the food is so good.

The room is clean, quiet and has it’s own sink. There is a separate toilet across the hall and then a toilet and shower room. There are dinner , packed lunch and breakfast options (you pay extra) and secure bike storage on site (shed is locked). There is a warm cosy bar downstairs and a self catering kitchen and nice dining room. The person at reception was really nice. I slept really well as it was nice and quiet. I paid £57 for a single room and it’s been good value for money.
