Aurelia really thought of everything, even the teaspoons are considered. It was a relaxing stay and it was the first night in my travels I fell asleep before taking a sleeping pill I was so comfortable.

Quiet location, very clean.
Beautiful setting across the river.
The landlord was very nice and took plenty of time to explain us about the mill functioning, which was very interesting.

Fabulous place to stay. Beautiful house. Very warm welcome. Excellent breakfasts. Nice (unheated) pool with sun loungers. Property is on the edge of a charming village, with secure on site parking. Triple attic room was fine for 3 adults: we stayed for 4 nights. Quirky room layout, with bathroom up a flight of stairs to a mezzanine level. Would definitely stay here again.

Chateau , outbuildings and grounds were lovely . The gardens were a delight and the wooded area was nice to walk around it was a shame we couldn’t walk our dog off the lead to give her a good run . The staff were friendly especially the gentleman that showed us around. We had there, dessert was lovely , starter nice but unfortunately the main course was a bit of a let down very bland chicken dish which guests were seasoning as it arrived ( so not just us). Although there is no AC due to the historical building it really could do with fans In the room or ceiling , it was too warm in the room and it wasn’t even a warm day , we couldn’t leave the window open due to mosquitoes which were active that night. Breakfast was nice . Very nice place to stay or for an overnight stop on your travels

Wonderful castle, great location with great outdoor pool, new and wonderful indoor spa, and tennis court (which is a little bit smaller than standard), big garden – worth a 2-3 night’s stay. Absolutely quiet. Friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast is a great event, together with other guests at a common table in the historical saloon, but the offer is a bit small. Our room had a big and comfortable bath (but no shower)
The hotel and gardens are beautiful. The host is very helpful and super friendly! Thanks for the recommendation for the wine tasting - that little place was just superb too. Breakfast was delicious and our room was great.
