We always stay here to break the journey on our visits to the South of France. Everything is lovely from the staff to the accommodation and a fair price. If you wish to have a meal, book in advance, as the restaurant gets booked up and is superb but know you must pay for something this good.
Breakfast provides everything you would normally expect and is lovely taken on the terrace.

Fabulous views of vineyards from lovely little balcony in my room. Nice garden for the dog. Friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect stopover en route to the south.

We loved the traditional French feel of La Mare du Vieux Chene. It was very comfortable with stunning views of the Vercours and the Alps. Yohanna was the perfect host and cooked us a delicious dinner. We loved all the animals especially Penny and U2 the dogs, Jean Jean the cat, the geese, chicken , cockerels and horses.

Although small inside it was very light and comfortable and had a good kitchen area with a surprising amount of utensils and everything you might need. The shower was hot and quite powerful. The bed was very comfortable. Best of all it had the biggest view possible of beautiful countryside which you could see from inside as well as outside. Although Sophie was on holiday without Wi-Fi she did manage to answer my questions as soon as she was inside her hotel. One important thing, the address given by booking.com is not recognised by all satnavs. Sophie gave me another one which worked well.
