Awesome location, super friendly staff, very good food
Prehistoric Lodge is located at the entrance of the Gorges de l’Ardèche Nature Reserve, just 100 metres from the Chauvet Cave. It offers guest rooms with a terrace and free WiFi access.

Lively township, in the center of things to see and visit. Ideal starting point for canoing. Many companies wilth a variety of offerings. Good choice of restaurants and bars.
Hint: Visit Pont d'Arc beach first thing in the morning and swim under the arch! Still few people, excellent experience!

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Hotel was great and really clean. We had dinner at 24 euros for the set four course menu - it was home cooked and delicious. Couldn’t recommend the hotel more highly.
Comfortable modern room which was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel is close to the central area for restaurants and shops. We stayed for breakfast, which was very good.
