The only good thing was the fact that the location was close to our exhibition (in Plouguerneau).

Easy and uncomplicated - a big house in a very calm area close to a stony beach. We stayed there for two nights and used it as a hub for our explorations of the surroundings: the nice restaurants at Lilia the walks on the coastal path and the stunning beaches in the vicinity.
Facing the beachfront, Baie des Anges offers 4-star accommodation in Landéda and has a garden, terrace and restaurant.

We upgraded our room when we arrived to a sea view room, the room wasn't very big, but it did have a bath and shower, which was good. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant, and the breakfasts were good too.
Lovely small town with a couple of locals bars & cake shops.
Lovely small town with a couple of locals bars & cake shops.
One excellent bar/off-licence selling lots of Breton beers & good wines, Bar Ha Gwin.
Short on restaurants though but some great ones on the coast which is just a short drive away.
2 supermarkets including an Inter-Marche right in the centre,
Very quiet.

We had a two night stay in Korejou Plage just outside Plouguerneau. It was the first time we'd been to this part of Brittany and we spent the time exploring the coast between Lampaul-Plouarzel and Plouescat. What a wonderful region! We were blown away by its wild, spectacular beauty. You'll find miles of the cleanest beaches with the finest, whitest sand, and beautiful coves and harbours, all so unspoiled and with barely any other people around (this was mid September). It's perfect territory for walking, and perfect coast for swimming, wind-surfing, kayaking and just gazing out to sea. Totally relaxing. Plouguerneau itself is a nice little town with a couple of good restaurants but check out opening days and times as we were there on Tuesday and Wednesday and unfortunately nothing was open. There are four restaurants at Lilia a 10 minute drive away, though, in the most spectacular beach-side setting. If you like sea food these are the places to go, but there's also a pizzeria/crèperie which is clearly very popular (book ahead - we missed out!).
The location of the hotel was absolutely outstanding overlooking the scenically beautiful rugged bay. The rooms, though modest in size, were more than adequate for our relatively short stay. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging. The restaurant facilities, particularly the quality of the food, were of a high quality with a good selection of French wines.
The hotel is just across the beach - I spent hours watching the tide come in and roll out again. Lovely walking possibilities right from the door. The food in the restaurant wasn't cheap but exceptional in quality and taste. There were more restaurants and bars only a few steps away, and it was never far to drive to many more lovely places in Britanny.
