Gorgeous Breton mansion tastefully converted into a lovely hotel. One wall of our room is the raw rock face so it’s like sleeping in a comfy cave. Spacious and spotless, we loved the style and especially the sumptuous and indulgent bathroom. The bed was an expensive and recent king sized one and the fixtures and fittings were all excellent. Breakfast was of the highest quality and with some notable local produce, too. The staff were excellent and very friendly and attentive. The grounds (and pool) were well landscaped and cared for … and it’s always lovely being surrounded by a field of frisky, happy horses.
Ideally located in the harbour of Cancale, Le Querrien is 47 km from the Mont Saint-Michel. It offers a restaurant and free Wi-Fi access.

Very warm welcome. Dinners were excellent. Plenty of choices at breakfast. Private parking arranged. Brilliant position in Cancale. We thought we had made a great choice of hotel and will certainly return.
Located at the tip of Pointe du Grouin, Hôtel de la Pointe du Grouin offers a panoramic view of the sea and the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay.

Fabulous location with a comfortable and clean room. The restaurant served very good seafood with excellent service.
We would definitely stay here again
This beautiful house, a former farm converted into a hotel, beyond the noise of downtown, is an ideal choice for visiting the Emerald Coast, Saint Malo and Mont St Michel.

Everything. So good I stayed an extra night. Located near a beautiful town and within a shirt drive of Saint Malo and Dinan. The staff were so helpful and friendly.

Friendly couple who run the B&B. Short walk into the main town. Great breakfast included unlike most hotels which charge €18pp. Nice size rooms and good shower. Secure parking too.

Beautiful, characterful town with excellent views, restaurants and shops. Also excellent as a walking and cycling centre. Easy to get to St Malo and Mont Saint Michel.
Our favourite restaurant, great for a special occasion, is Côté Mer https://www.restaurant-cotemer.fr - with its wonderful view of the bay, attentive service and amazing food

The Hotel is on the front opposite the sea.
The Hotel is on the front opposite the sea. The Restaurant was excellent, and so was the breakfast. The staff were very good. The rooms were a little small and the stairs narrow, but this is a period property, typically French and in a period environment, Cancale is world renown for its Oysters and tides. Everything worked so it was good.
Yes we eat and drank at the Restaurant which was a very pleasant experience.

Cancale is a beautiful town and the beaches are clean and very inviting. It's a nice base to visit surrounding Dinan, Dinard and St. Malo etc. From the beach bars of Cancale you can see, in the distance and directly across the bay, the outline of Mont-Saint Michel.

Good town Centre with interesting small shops, everything close by. The seafront has excellent views of the sea , the Mont St Michel and the famous oyster beds. Oysters were everywhere ,tastyand reasonable priced, straight out of the sea. A delight.
One problem was lack of parking in the evenings close to the restaurants. The walk down from the upper town is 5 to 10 minutes if you are able bodied. Steep if old.
Lots of restaurants on the front ,some good value.
Overall a very enjoyable long weekend.

A very busy port with limited parking which was always full on the front regardless of the time of day. Great selection of restaurants at the port and small cafe/bars up the hill in town. Stunning church. Good market on a Thursday evening from 1730. Local produce and craft stalls. We were staying just out of town, a 15 minutes walk downhill to the port. On our second night we discovered the Tuk Tuk service from the front - 4 euros per person to our location, 2.50 back into town. Cancale is a good base for discovering that area ofr Brittany. Take the D155 along the bay, a lovely road with stunning views and a chance to sample oysters and mussels along the way.
Fabulous location on the seafront, lovely big room with good facilities. Parking can be tough but we parked in town and walked down to the port. We are in the restaurant and the fruits de mer was yummy, unfortunately the staff were quite rude, maybe just because they were busy however when we left to go to our room one waiter ran after us shouting that we needed to pay when we had already done that….pretty poor behaviour when we were staying the hotel. Would stay here again but probably not eat there.
Beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped apartment. Has all the facilities to sustain yourself including dishwasher and washing machine. Located right in the middle of the Cancale beach area with all restaurants and shops in close proximity. Lovely view over Cancale beach. Very friendly and helpful host. We are looking forward to coming back for a longer stay hopefully very soon.
what a fantastic house to stay in!Cancale is a beautiful town and the house was ideally situated and had excellent facilities. The hosts were great as well.Definitely a place to return to
Charming little hotel right near the waterfront. The view is magnificent if you take a room facing the bay. Food is outstanding, compliments to the chef!
