Location hard to find ,we travel from Scotland to visit south France by car for this reason we booked multiple places during our journey,the room of hotel full of mosquito 🦟 and air condition too old instead make warm more ,can’t open windows because of mosquitoes and left hotel 5:30am as can’t breath on that room was horrible experience.never ever recommend this place

We booked late so were left with little choice of room however we had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the local organic foods and teas and the staff were very helpful and spoke good English, which is hard to find in many French hotels that we have stayed at previously. This place is where you come for burgundy wines. Lots of vineyards around for tasting or just stay in town and try there. Wine cellars are mostly very friendly and luckily speak English. Food wise look for snails and their special beef, Charolais, whether as tartar or bourguignon. We stayed an extra night rather than head to Epernay

Beaune, the centre of Bourgogne! What's not to like? The atmosphere in the winebars in the evenings is great. Very attentive staff with an excellent depth of knowledge on everything about Pinot Noir and the local vineyards. I just wish we could have stayed longer and that I had a bottomless pit of money to afford some of the wines. The wine we drank was excellent. The ones I could not justify must have been sublime!

Its the perfect pit stop on the way back from the South to the UK. Beaune is very easy to walk around. Its nice to look around the gallery in the church.
We ate at Brasserie Carnot -something for everyone. Traditional French food or Pizzas etc. Plenty of nice cafes, bars and restaurants,

A hidden gem with some great restaurants. The old Hospital was well worth the visit and the town square delightful. A great location to stop half way if going to/from South France. Would definately recommend.

Unit is French apartment. Very clean, good parking and walking to city center is easy. Ma Cuisine and Le Maufoux both excellent food and wine lists, reservations required at both. Wednesday farmers market in the square is a must to shop for food and crafts.

The Hotel Dieu is an extraordinary building. Plan your trip to be in Beaune on a Saturday to see the amazing market and try the range of cheeses and olives and charcuterie. There are concerts on in the cathedral sometimes and the tapestry in Notre Dame cathedral is excellent. Lots of nice wines to taste too.
I have stayed several times at this hotel. I booked it for my mother in.law and wife who loved it!!! Friendly staff , very clean with comfortable beds and quiet. Also very easy to park and we all enjoy the swimming pool after driving for hours.. . The best hotel in Beaune although other hotels appear more stylish...
