Sorvagur is a great base if you fly into the Faroe Islands. Guesthouse Hugo is perfectly situated just close to the harbour and the boat that sails from there to Mykines Island (to see puffins :-) - don't forget to book in advance the online ferry there and back and a separate guided tour of Mykines Island - without this, a visit to the island is not possible). A very nice owner who was happy to answer all our initial confused questions. Parking is not available directly in front of Guesthouse Hugo, but just a short walk further into the harbour round the corner.

Though the room is small it is just the right size for an amazing and cozy adventure in the Faroe Islands. The entire guesthouse is absolutely immaculate and has many convenient amenities. The bathrooms are amazing. The location is absolutely beautiful and convenient. The café downstairs owned by the family is delicious and such a great way to get a taste of the Faroes.
