The location, beautiful Beach on our Doorstep and right across the road from the Supermarket, Restaurants and Petrol Station. And the wonderful Staff, nothing was any trouble to them. They were so lovely, always smiling, friendly, just loved our stay.

We loved our experience at the Outrigger. We have a toddler and felt the resort catered to everything we needed. Our ocean view room was located in a prime spot near the pool, beach and Sundowner restaurant (this was such a fluke and was honestly one of the highlights of the trip). Majority of the staff and grounds workers were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun with the music by the pool and families and kids everywhere so it made it feel festive. The activities catered to toddlers too which meant we didn’t miss out on much.
It’s a great family resort so it’s perfect for young families with kids under 12 years old (who eat free at all venues, which is a HUGE bonus!!). I think for couples or adult only groups, it may not be as valuable. There are adult only areas but the resort definitely caters more to families.

Loved the isolation, the beach, the sunset dinner set up on the deck down by the beach on our last evening was beautiful. The staff were lovely and the gardens were very well tended.
BYO alcohol and have drinks with dinner/ poolside etc, as they do not sell alcoholic beverages.
Great for relaxing away from crowds.

Great location, around 1hr 40min from Nadi airport. similar distance to Suva. Safe beach and great pool. Plenty of activities for adults and kids. Village tour was informative and a small glimpse into village life.

Maybe a bit far out from Airport but this adds more charm. Superb location with fantastic surf break. Some great local food options. Very safe area and the local people can’t do enough to assist you. Very easy to get around by local cab. You can hire a car as the roads are very safe and signposted well. Overall very good and I wold go again and again.

We loved the spaciousness and views from the house. Four bedrooms suitable for up to 10 people with different murals in each room depicting peace and serenity. A large kitchen/ lounge/ dining overlooking the the pool and the sea with a Weber bbq at the side of the house.
Included in the cost of our stay was a house girl who did cooking (our provisions) and our laundry while she was there 9-5pm. Extra hours would be overtime and she would need to be paid.
The only problem we had was getting to the property as there were no directions and we had to ask the locals. Also the road up to the house was a bit steep.

Quite a few things to do in the local area. We hired a car but only actually needed it twice, everything else we did we could have been picked up for. Take plenty of cash as the locals prefer it that way.

Food was good for a resort of this level (3 star), excellent pool and lagoon adjacent to resort. Fantastic staff laid on games and experiences for the guests. Great for families with young children, evening entertainment every night and wandering minstrels with instruments to serenade people on their sun decks in the afternoons. Whole establishment has seen better days and would benefit from some TLC and updating. Great Location 90 mins from airport by taxi F$150 each way.
· The WiFi was rubbish, Great if you want to chill out away from the world. Passwords only lasted 24 hrs and internet kept dropping out. loudspeakers around the pool could be a bit loud at times, but the experience was relative to the people there who joined in the frivolities and games. lots going on every day.
