Friendliness of staff; size of our unit and location. Koro 'adults only pool'. Nuku and Thai restaurants both had a lovely selection on the menu and 'Fire Dancing' night was excellent. All pools were lovely with plenty of seating. Gardens were lovely and well tended.
Featuring an on-site restaurant and an outdoor pool, The Palms Apartments offers self-contained accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen.

Super friendly/helpful staff and great location across the road from the marina and bula bus pick up behind the palms was so handy. Great pool with a shallow area for kids. Would have preferred if it was slightly heated as kids get cold easily. Lucky the weather was so hot!
Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort boasts a waterfront location just 3 minutes’ drive from Port Denarau Marina. It offers an outdoor pool, direct beach access and a day spa.

Loved the kids pool with sand so the little ones could play. The atmosphere of the resort was beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast buffet offering was awesome, especially the fresh juices. Rooms were modern and clean, large, beautiful bathrooms.
Boasting an infinity pool and landscaped gardens, Sheraton Denarau Villas is situated just 2 km from Denarau Marina. Free WiFi is available.

We were here to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday with our grown children, their partners and grandchild. From the moment we arrived we were attended to and welcomed by Sereana and all the staff at the Sheraton with grace and amazing service to make our holiday the best it could be.
The facilities at the Sheraton are fabulous, the whole family thoroughly made use of all the pools, the gym, and the nanny service, The breakfast and dinner buffets nights were greatly devoured and loved.
Our 3-bedroom villa was serviced each day, and we appreciated the care they took, especially with 3 bathrooms as well to clean! The grandson (3) loved it when the housekeeping even put "Mr Giraffe" to bed,. All these little touches made for happy memories. We cannot wait to return again, soon! Big thankyou to Sereana and her team! Vinaka, Nick and Di x

The location close to the beach but yet only 15mins taxi ride from the airport. Lovely setting and friendly staff.

Denarau is such a great place to visit in Fiji especially if you have small children.
The airport in Nadi is only 20 mins drive, transfers are easy to arrange through your hotel.
I love the options for accommodation. Each resort has a great kid club, a selection of different restaurants and beautiful pools. The best part is you can walk between the resorts or catch the bula bus for a fun adventure.
The port is a short ride away from the resorts which is handy for day trips out to the islands or if you are just wanting to do some shopping or try out the local eateries with a view of the marina.
Denarau also offers a water park (best for kids aged 5 and above) and a beautiful golf course with a club house that does the best wood fire pizzas in the area!

We enjoyed Denarau and wished we had more time to explore.
We enjoyed Denarau and wished we had more time to explore. Our hotel was wonderful we ran out of time to enjoy the pools, etc. while also exploring. We had spent 6 days in the outer islands (Blue Lagoon) which was not long enough either. Overall not sure why there are so many reviews which say don't waste too much time there. We wish we'd had 5 days there.
We went on to enjoy time at Natadola Beach. Denarau was a different, welcome break between the beach times on the islands and Coral Coast.
We ate at the Marina, visited the Sleeping Giant Garden, booked a driver to just do a slow drive to the gardens so we could enjoy the scenery, did some shopping, walked through the produce market and enjoyed some wonderful pool time at our hotel.
Did not enjoy the airport but great to be able to exchange our Fiji dollars back to NZ.

Denarau was awesome, you really feel like your having a break and on holiday. The Bula Bus is a great way to get around the island or down to the port, you can walk through different resorts and check them out or go to their restaurants. Highly recommend the Hilton Resort and Spa to stay.

When travelling to Fiji, you must take into consideration the seasonal weather changes. From the day we arrived (mid March) until the day we left, one week later, it absolutely poured rain every single day and night with the exception of one four hour afternoon, a day before we left. I would love to have explored more of this beautiful, tropical island. The people we met were amazing. I had a very nasty fall on day two of our trip and thankfully a local fellow was able to assist me to get to a pharmacy and clean my wound. The footpaths are uneven, the area was very wet. It is not a good time to travel to Fiji. Would definitely return but during the drier months. The Port of Denarau is amazing, has a great selection of restaurants, cafe's and bars and shops to browse and buy. It is the focal point for travelling to other islands and they also run tours from the Marina. Beautiful spot to sit back, relax and enjoy a drink and/or meal. Lou Lou Bar/Cafe food is amazing! So nice we went there twice. To get around, we used the local Fijian bus service. It's very reasonably priced and they run constantly. You don't have to wait long to get the bus to your destination. Unfortunately we couldn't play golf because it was too wet. The bunkers were like lakes.

We stayed at both the Wyndham and Sheraton.
We stayed at both the Wyndham and Sheraton. The food at the Wyndham was not particularly impressive, we ate mostly at the restaurant just outside of Sheraton - Vasaqa. Denarau is a relatively central location when in Nadi - highly recommend having a hire car otherwise the taxi fares and bus fares would add up if you are planning alot of trips outside of Denarau.

I love that there is a variety of resorts right next to each other that you can walk to or catch the wonderful Bula bus to them. Plenty of restaurants at all of the resorts or just a quick bus ride to the Port for some more. Plenty of great shops to look at there as well. Most of the tours come out of the Port which is so handy. I loved that you had the choice to do things or you could do nothing but relax by the pool. It is so easy to get around on the Bula bus and it takes you everywhere you need and is so worth a trip on it. It is very reasonably priced too. So many wonderful day trips to islands available as well from the Port. It even has a 24 hour medical centre there which is great. The sunsets are amazing too. I have been 5 times to Fiji and always stay on Denarau Island. I will be back again next year. Absolutely love staying on Denarau Island as it has everything you need there to enjoy.
Every single thing about this place was amazing! Fantastic location, facilities, staff, pools, gardens, restaurants and the rooms. We had plenty of room for the whole family and we loved how the rooms were situated with the kitchen in the middle. The food at the restaurants was the best ever and the staff was wonderful. The location couldn't have been any better. The entertainment was wonderful as well.
Thank you to Radisson Blu Fiji - we, unfortunately, made the wrong room booking, misunderstood but the duty manager sorted it out for us immediately. Bookings.com allowed us to book a twin single when we needed twin doubles but the hotel sorted it out immediately. We now know better for next time. Was late after a 5 hr boat trip so we were all tired and not wanting the hassle but there was no hassle.
This is in an excellent location and great value for active vacationers. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment is spacious and well maintained. This is a great place for people who spend a lot of time being active. The pool is small....not a complaint but travelers should not expect a resort-type pool. We had several excursions going out of the marina so the ability to walk to the port was excellent.
High end apartment-style hotel in Port Denarau, a short taxi ride from the airport and right across the street from the ferry dock where you take the ferry to smaller islands. Great pool with lounge chairs for relaxing. Cafe downstairs that’s got nice breakfast. The suite was amazing, very luxurious and clean with a balcony and bathtub. Loved it here! The staff are super friendly.
We stayed before snd after our trip to the Yasawa islands. Friendly. very helpful staff, well appointed apartments and excellent location across the road from the Denarau marina. The on-site cafe offers a selection. of tasty treats and there are plenty of dining options at the marina. The complimentary bottle of champagne on the last night of our holiday was a lovely touch.
We loved everything about this place, from the best breakfast buffet we have ever seen to the perfect and clean room with wonderful view, from the exceptional staff to the facilities, every single thing we experienced was way above standards. Activities were fun and various. Plenty of restaurants on site to choose from, minimarket on site, just fantastic and dreamy!
the new refurbishment is truly amazing! the Villas new fit out is luxurious and absolutely fabulous. the main lobby coffee area is where we spent most of our time. coffee was great and service was exceptional at every point! breakfast area is stunning and it’s by far the BEST breakfast buffet in all
of Fiji!
The staff was exceptional!!!! The grounds were emmaculant. Visited other properties on Denarau the staff were friendly but not as friendly as the Blu staff.
I truly appreciated the adult only pool and eating options. We were welcomed warmly and serenanded upon departure. Will be back.
- Such an incredible breakfast, offering such a selection.
- Staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
- Appreciated the room reception offered us to have a shower in after we checked out. This wasn't the hospitality room, they actually let us use one of the hotel rooms!
We stayed at 4 hotels while on Fiji. The best over all was Sheraton. Food was great, drinks where great. The location is close to airport (15-20mins) & stuff is very friendly & professional. Some of the other 5 star hotels we stayed at where not as friendly or professional
It's a well priced, vibrant resort on the main island. It would be ideal for families with young kids, as there are a load of activities to do. It's well located, with other resorts / restaurants / bars within walking distance.
The staff and locals are always amazing in Fiji and it definitely was exactly that in the Hilton! I’m gonna miss everything and everyone there! Thank you for the stay!
