Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was large and clean. Option of a heat pump in the room which did the job. Room and bathroom were well heated. I say this as I have noticed now that generally hotel rooms are cold and the heating systems are poor.

Cool thing is that you can go from Tornio to Sweden (Haparanda) by walking and buy some swedish delicacy called snus 😊
The worst in the whole world anybody can imagine. Everywhere dirty, smelly, mold & smoke, bedsheets, blanket everything is unthinkably dirty & smelly. We were two families with children booked four family room. Everybody started itching skin, breathing heavy, uncomfortable and threw up, headache & the youngest one fainted. We left the motel and went inside our cars, cancelled the Motel Tornio but didn’t get payback one single kr
Very prompt email responses to booking queries. I arrived very late and staff gave precise instructions as to how to pick up my key on arrival. I was passing through Tornio and only stayed one night, so didn't get much of a feel for the facilities. But the location by the river was nice and the breakfast excellent. Good parking facilities out back, and a good range of local products available to buy at reception.
Historical building with interesting decor. Welcoming, chatty, and lovely ladies working at this hotel. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Slippers and kettle were provided. Heating worked well. Free parking at the back of the hotel. Shopping mall across the street. We would definitely return if in the area again.
Twin room was very large and comfortable with tea, coffee, milk and kettle (only hotel to provide milk so far). Our building had a shared kitchen which was useful as no restaurants within walking distance. Self check-in worked well.
