The house is located around 20km from Mariehamn, so it is bit remote and very quiet. The view was simply stunning and we enjoyed staying on the terrace so much. The kitchen-living room area has big windows so you can enjoy the view even when staying inside. We stayed there in the very end of May, so it was not high season yet and we were the only guests in the site.

Staff were friendly and multilingual. Public areas were very clean and comfortable. Evening sauna was free to guests. The breakfast spread was excellent, with the exception of the juice machine.

We enjoyed the nearby Skeppargården museum, it was just lovely and so interesting to learn about the history of the last sailing ships. Also the Lemböte chapel was a nice side trip (good for a picnic) and the canal crossing to Lemland was fun (bridge opens to let the boat through; and ice cream stand is there as well).
