Beautiful hotel, lovely location, clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Walks around the hotel are good, and it was so peaceful. Would definitely stay here again. Pool is a great addition. Breakfast was great. Plenty of choice, more continental which suited us. The evening meal was good, not a big choice but good value 24 euros for a 3 course meal. Martins bar is great, a good choice of drinks, tapas and toasties etc.
This comfortable hotel is conveniently located near the motorway in Totana, Murcia, a small rural town with lovely views of the landscape.

The breakfasts are exceptional - each day the guests have an individually prepared breakfast to suit your needs - it is not a buffet where you see waste being either trashed or greedily taken by others. You are served whatever you like in the grounds of the property by polite and very pleasant staff.
The staff are delightful and very keen to offer you an experience staying there that is almost like you share their beautiful property and eat with them if you like at night.
The food prepared for us was stunning with great care to ensure that your healthy options are served. Locally produced bread, organically grown vegetable from their garden, olive oil from the local olive trees in the village and wine from the local Murcia region - I can quite safely say that should you stay here you will not be disappointed - this is not a place to bring children as most kids would prefer a buffet style breakfast and meal but a place to come for a romantic and holistic break in the beautiful surrounding mountains

The hotel does not have a bar or cafe/restaurant but the sister hotel about 5 minutes walk away was very good ... excellent tapas and value for money and great friendly staff. There was also a bar we used across the road from the hotel which was great for menu del dia - also super friendly staff and good value for money.
Location of the hotel was just off the motorway and ideal for our purpose. Very quiet and lovely rooms, and parking no problem outside on the road (also underground parking available)
The beds and cleanliness of the hotel was good, and the reception staff very helpful . The wifi signal was very good throughout the hotel.
However ... The Spa ... which was the main reason we had booked in, and the outdoor pool (which looked great in the photos) ... sadly the outdoor pool was being refurbished and not in use ... and the Spa was only half usable (the jacuzzis were only available for use at the weekend?). The 2 biothermal showers were in poor condition and the steam room had VERY little steam. We were not told about either the pool or the lack of full use in the Spa, so were rather disappointed at not being able to enjoy those facilities (booked specifically as a treat for friends).

We loved that Totana is very Spanish and not a tourist trap.
We loved that Totana is very Spanish and not a tourist trap. We had to speak Spanish , which again we appreciated. Parking can sometimes be an issued but overall the welcome is warm and the food is wonderful.

We were using this as a half way stopover.
We were using this as a half way stopover. Totana itself is very small and mostly agricultural and flat. It seems to be still suffering from recent and ongoing motorway changes and developments. Agricultural commercial area with very little else. Basic facilities and roads full of container trucks.

The people in Totana are lovely.
The people in Totana are lovely. There are some great restaurants to be found as well. You will need a car to get around and you need to plan your itinerary in advance. There are some great attractions in Murcia and staying up in the mountains where it is slightly cooler is an excellent idea as long as you dont mind driving more. The good news is the roads are nearly always empty and you begin to smile when you drive because of that - something that was last seen in the UK over 30 years ago.
We were made welcome which is always a good start. The hotel was lovely. The room was clean and everything was as it should be. There is a restaurant next door where the food was decent. Onnce again the staff were very friendly and helpful.
For the price, this hotel was excellent. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. huge too! The bathroom was clean and there were toiletries too.
