100% the greatest experience I've had at a hotel. Anna is absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly and so helpful. Gave great recommendations and was always lovely. Rooms are very nice and modern, comfy beds and everything was always very clean. Beautiful roof terrace, with a little pool as well, has lovely views and gets good sun during the day. Very centrally located to get you wherever you need to go, but if you have a car: make sure to sort your parking reservation before arriving. Overall could not recommend coming to stay here any more. It’s not easy climbing. This would challenge older people and those with mobility problems.
If you can sit to stand 50x without pain or muscle fatigue you will manage ok.

The beach and old town are excellent. All very clean and well kept. Quiet as it was slightly out of season but that's what I liked. Interesting museums and historic buildings. Bus connections with Lloret and Barcelona (book in advance)

Great town. Not too big, not too small, just right. It still has the culture due to the old town and fort, unlike some of the other coastal towns which are more party towns. However I wouldn't want to be there in the summer, i would imagine it would be very crowded. Late September was good. Highly recommend a visit to Tossa. I could easily live here!

It has hardly changed since I first went in the 70s.
It has hardly changed since I first went in the 70s. It has an interesting historical past, which is worth researching. Sometimes I stay in the lovely city of Girona and take the bus to Tossa after a couple of days which makes a good trip. Local transport in Spain is plentiful and easy.

The hotel reception was very nice, however, the room was dated and warn. The sea view over looked a back alley. Parking is an issue. You either pay for parking or park in the “free” area which was a bit of a walk and wasn’t free once we were towed and fined for parking in a free area that was blocked the next morning for a car show. Unfortunately we didn’t notice the signs posted stating that vehicles needed to be moved by 7:00 AM.
We loved the town and would have liked to have stayed more than one night.

First visited Tossa in 1984 as a lad and probably didn’t appreciate what it has to offer.
The beauty of Tossa is it never changes. The Vila Vella is a beautiful walled village and dominates the sea front and there are a vast array of quality restaurants on offer as well as some very nice shops, very few ‘cheap souvenir shops’.
Not the sort of resort that attracts the partying types who are far better served in Lloret de Mar so never rowdy.
A well kept secret and I hope it stays that way!
Decent hotel, with great rooms with seaview. A lot of terraces in different parts of the hotel, with great views overlooking Tossa Del Mar, so you can always find a spot somewhere to enjoy a drink or a snack. Very friendly staff. The beach is nearby right in front of the hotel, but you have to walk down (the hotel is build on a kind of rock overlooking the bay) and cross a quiet street, so the hotel is not right on the beach itself. Good breakfast buffet, and they don't chase people away after 10am which we liked because we eat late.
All was perfect! Super location in Tossa de Mar: right inside the old town/citadel with the famous castle and just 5 min walk from the beach and bus terminal towards Barcelona, Girona etc. The room was cozy and comfortable and breakfast really good. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful during the entire trip. Overall a great experience! We can't wait to return and stay longer. Thank you.
The hotel is right by the beach looking at the gorgeous view of Tossa de Mar castle and seaside. Staff is great, they help you with your requests like keepin the luggages in the back, providing you with umbrella for daily usage etc. Price-value ratio is great. Obviously there is couple things that can be improved, but as you would stay here for a couple days, all is good. I will be back.
If you want to make your stay at Tossa de Mar a unique expirience go to Hotel Sant Marc and let them give any advise, and most important follow them! Francesc was accompaynign our expirience from the beginning to the end. Also when stating at the hotel service was delicious. We felt like at home we'll come back for sure!
The location is amazing. Walked by this place many times before when in Tossa. Staff was really helpful and kind. The room itself is small but practical. Had some very nice touches that even 4 star hotels lack sometimes. Breakfast was really good.
Honestly the best hotel of Tossa de Mar, and for such a great price. The people working there were amazing, kind, quick, just so nice. The views were impeccable, the facilities great, and it is just such aa recommendation, cannot say it louder.

Personnel is the best asset of the Golden Bahia de Tossa. We received all and even a bit more assistance we needed. Rooms (we took three - all in close near), food, animation also were good.
