Torre del Mar is a very traditional Spanish town with a promenade along a very long beach. It has numerous restaurants, chiringuitos, bars and ice cream shops. There are very few English holidaymakers and not all restaurants and shops speak English or have English menus, but they are all very friendly and try to help! It's very family orientated and doesn't have loud bars or nightclubs.

This is a very nice quiet area.
This is a very nice quiet area. There are good restaurants and bars dotted around. I used google maps street view to discover the area and found locations of supermarkets. Hotel Manaike offered my family access to the 4th floor pool area so kids can swim, they also provided baggage hold temporarily even though we didn't stay there. The views of the mountains is spectacular.

Great selection of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all price points. An easy walk from beach to shops.
Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas situated along the beach for rent at €5 each per day 10am to 8pm. Not bad value I thought, but something to factor into holiday budget if you plan on using these facilities.
There are toilets provided regularly along the front, which is nice, and they seemed to be clean whenever I used them, a bonus!
No showers working at the moment, but that is due to sever lack of rain and surplus water
The beach itself is not white sand but black, quite stoney and it gets VERY hot. Down at the surf edge the stones are larger and the beach drops away so it becomes a little steep if you don't have water shoes, or tough feet it can be uncomfortable going.
Great beach bars and restaurants where you can get drinks and food without leaving the beach. Again, good value at some. And nice food.

A beautiful town with great access to and from Malaga and other small beautiful towns, apart from Casa Miquel on the beach every restaurant we went too was lovely and very helpful and lovely food. nice walks along the sea front with lots off amenities does have a nightlife but not full off drunken people a very relaxed pleasant vacation was had

Torre del Mar is a lovely resort, completely flat all along the seafront and nice for a long, leisurely walk. We always felt perfectly safe while we were there. The whole beachfront is spotlessly maintained on a daily basis (even in January).
The town is quite bustling, with lots of places to eat and drink as well as more general shopping. Miga Migo was our favourite cafe for breakfast or lunch…nice location, friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

There are plenty of resturants, cafes and shops in Torre del Mar.
The promenade is very pretty and at the weekend there is music in the resturants along the promenade
There are many places to visit in the surrounding area.
It is only 35minutes from Malaga airport.
Superb location and comfortable apartment. Facilities were fully adequate with sufficient items in kitchen and a pleasant modern bathroom.

Beach in Torre del Mar is long with plenty areas for sunbathing. It can get busy at weekends though, which is as expected.
Seventh floor apartment so we had great views over beach and promenade. Balcony had table and 4 chairs so a reasonable size.

They property is amazingly equipped and extremely comfortable and spacious, in a very central point, close to many restaurants and bars and a 3 mini walk to the beach front. The host was excellent and very friendly with us, instructions where clear and very easy access. She even let us stay longer after check out. Highly recommended, if we vist malaga in the future we wont even look for another place.
The apartment is well located on the western side of Torre del Mar with plenty of on-street parking. It's about 300 meters to the beach and a Mercadona is a 5 minute walk away.
As we were a family of five, the two bathrooms were greatly appreciated.
The apartment is well equipped and lends itself to a comfortable and relaxing vacation.
Both Daniel and Antonio were very good hosts, Daniel gave us the keys on the arrival and took us through the access details, It’s a lovely property and very close to beach, shops and restaurants. I would love to visit again for a spanish holiday in El-Faro - torre del Marr.
