The view was amazing. The most excellent part was - there were no surrounding neighborhood - just you and the mountains! The property is really good - we were there during the rather cold period but it wasn't a problem - the chalet has well operated heating system. There is a really nice well kept garden with lemon and avocado trees, palms... .

The house was gorgeous, great views, spotless, lots of room, comfy sitting room, really well equipped kitchen. Terrace was a great spot for coffee and breakfast, gets the sun all day.
Also, Fina the owner was incredibly helpful when we got ourselves into a car-related pickle. She helped us call our car company and get it all sorted in less than 24 hours. Life saver!

Beautiful town, loads of trails for hiking and running. Some really nice eateries and especially the famous almond dulcerias - come early in the morning as they get pretty busy in the middle of the day!

The hotel is in a superb location for hikers as it is positioned at the intersection of many of the best walks on Gran Canaria . The building faces west and looks over the mountain tops, which gives a stunning view, especially when the sun is setting. All the bedrooms also face roughly ina westerly direction so there is no fear of missing out when reserving your stay, however the winds were very strong when we stayed there in January so not really possible to use the balcony.Tea and coffee making facilities not available, would have appreciated a welcome drink or a cup of tea on arrival and air conditioning/heating unit didn't appear to work despite the appearance of a new control unit. If you are not interested in hiking there isn't any other nearby activities, however, it is still a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

A very pretty little town/village with a modest selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and a small but well stocked supermarket. You'll need to eat fairly early in the evening though as most places seemed to be closed by 8pm (in April).
A great base from which to access the superb hiking trails in the area.

Pay attention at the evening restaurants. Some are indicated as open, but if the owner doesn’t feel like to open he won’t…. So you might spend some time to get food.
I recommend to go at the bakery dulceria de Tejeda. Great pastries 😄

Gorgeous for a short stay, great for those wanting to hike, bike or study nature. Useless for the night-lifers or those wanting the party lifestyle found in the south. Tiny town, only one shop and a farmacia. A few restaurants, but no hotel. No sophisticated. Very rural

I was on a walking holiday and so Tejeda was perfect. I did the long walk around Roque Nublo. Itinerary no 2 from the tourist information. Scenery in the area is superb. Strangely bars and restaurants seem to close early, possibly because the town seems to cater for day trippers.
Big appartment, very clean, cosy, with everthing you need. Very nice host. Nice view from the sunny balcony. Nice paintings on the wall made by Andrea herself. Spar supermarket almost nextdoor. Nice sweet-bakeryshops nearby. Free public parking is easy and nearby the hotel. Tejeda and the surroundings are beautiful. It looks like a small grand canyon-monument valley.
I enjoyed my stay at this property. The property is centrally located and is ideal for short-term stays. Restaurants are all within easy walking distance. There is a supermarket literally downstairs. One of the best aspects of this property is the view from the front windows. Having breakfast with that view makes it worth it.
Great apartment with everything you need to be comfortable while exploring the island. Breathtaking scenery everywhere and thrilling mountain roads. The owners are really nice folks that take good care of everything. Amazing hiking options right from Tejeda. Highly recommend!
the hotel has a good atmosphere with wooden interior such as wooden furniture, wooden floors. there is heating in the room. breakfastbuffet is good but if you are not hungry in the morning you can go to the coffeebar around the corner. i enjoyed the 3-course dinner for € 20.
Great location, with an amazing view on the mountains around. 15 minutes walk from the center of the village of Tejeda (no problem to reach it if you don't have a car). The house is very comfortable and it feels like home. The two terraces are great. Paola is very helping.
the location and the property is just amazing ; peacefully located in the centre of the island within the mountains a perfect 'base camp' to start exploring each day another corner of Gran Canaria ; and each evening we had a lovely welcome from the neighbour's dog
Within just a few minutes, you can start a hike to destinations like Roque Nublo, Pico de las Nieves, Artenara, and more. Additionally, Tejeda and Cruz de Tejeda are just a 25-minute journey away, making them ideal spots for your grocery shopping.
The terrace and the view from it are spectacular.. The house itself is nicely decorated and cheerful. In good weather this cottage would be lovely. It is very peaceful. There is no road noise and yet one is in walking distance of Tejeda village.
The room was clean and comfortable and but the best part was the balcony overlooking both Roques. 1 min walk to a supermarket and 2-3 minute walk to the restaurants and bakeries in Tejeda.
The location was great as the house was in the historical part of Tejeda. It was close to restaurants.The house was small and quirky which we liked.It was very quiet at night.
Tejeda is very beautiful place and Cave house has a very good location. Also there is very nice terrace and small yard. The price is good according to the location.
