It's very far from Las Palmas so if you want to spend full holiday in hotel that's ok for you but if you want to go around and see stuff it's very far nearly everywhere we won't be back for sure. The communication was good by bus but we was going around 2.5 h to last palmas with bus

Taurito is located in the south of Gran Canaria with its own beach, restaurants and shops. Walkable. Some apartments up hill. Water park, mini golf and bowling too. Small village vibe.
Close to Puerto Mogán and Puerto Rico - both pretty and fun places to visit. We liked the small beach in Puerto Mogan and restaurants there too. Took ferry from Puerto Mogan to Puerto Rico 20 min. (Also goes to Anfi and another nearby town) Bus easily accessible. We rented a car and drove.
Restaurant at Taurito Vista apartments where we stayed is private and amazing! Ordered seafood paella the day before. Also loved the stuffed mushrooms. Pool very nice.

It was better than we were thinking because the bad reviews before. We saw a lot of cleaning stuff and all the area is in normal condition. There is no a lot to do there, but if you have a car, you could visit the Amadores beach and Puerto Mogan very easily. We saw a lot of people hiking up the mountain towards Puerto Mogan, but didn t do the hike ourselves.

There is a nice little waterpark that could be fun for younger children. The location on its own has a lovely wide beach, some restaurants and souvenir shops. If you want some more character Puerto de Mogan is your best choice.

Taurito is over populated, run down , out of date and tired...
Taurito is over populated, run down , out of date and tired . Also cut off from beautiful Mogan that is not even a Mile away due to a permanent road closure since 2017! Buses are cheap and regular but not to Mogan . A taxi costs 18 euros to Mogan one way , there are a couple of buses there early morning and late afternoon only .

Anything not available in resort was easily accessible via a short taxi ride.
I would recommend exploring all the local beaches/ resorts.
If you're looking for more to do in the evenings then you'll definitely need to head off to Puerto Rico 12€ taxi ride.

We loved our stay here. Modern, clean, comfortable and just a short walk (10 mins) out of town and to the beach and supermarket. Set up on the hill away from the bigger hotels in Taurito. This is a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and spacious, beds comfortable and staff really friendly and helpful. We would definitely return. The sofa bed pulls out into two single beds which was perfect for my twin daughters of 11. The main bedroom was two single beds pushed together. All beds were very comfortable.
The staff at CCB go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic stay. The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen has everything in it for a self catering holiday and everything is spotlessly clean. Everyone is so friendly Taurito is a really nice place with shops bars restaurants. The pool is great and clean.round the pool area is really spacious with loads of comfy Sun loungers. There is a life guard on too at all times when pool is opened. We had the best stay and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Gran Canaria.
Excellent location, probably best in area. The reception is clad in marble, light and airy and makes a great first impression. Most rooms had sea views and were spacious. Our room was last refurbished in 2017. The pool is clean, well positioned, monitored by a life guard and there is plenty to do around the hotel with easy access to the beach. The Tui staff are lovely and helpful. Plenty of fun activities throughout our weeks stay. Good food for a fully inclusive package.
The apartment has a great view with a big terrace and is very well equipped, making it suitable for longer stays also. We had everything we needed for our stay and would definitely recommend it. The location is great if you have a car (free private parking was included), can get easily to the beaches nearby or other attractions. The Taurito beach is 10-15 minute walk. Internet connection was very good.
The owner is was friendly, even if I was one hour late for check in, the apartment was clean with all you need for your short, or longer stay (I stayed 3 weeks). The apartment is near to the beach - Taurito, which is not covered as the Amadores. There are close beaches within 10 min by car.
After 22:00 there is absolute silence, the life begins after 7:00 am.
Everything was awesome! Daya was very friendly, nice and helpful. The location is excellent and the parking space is a big plus in that area. We only used the pool once, but it was great, very clean and refreshing. Easy access to nearby beaches at Taurito, Puerto de Mogan, Amadores and Anfi. Stunning ocean view.

We liked everything about this place. It is very comfortable, quiet, new, clean and pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view is amazing. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach and only 3 min to the bus stop if you decide to explore other beaches or towns.
Food is not good nor varied, very disappointing! Was expecting much better for a 4star hotel.

The facilities are great, the location is very good, public transport stops are just 5 mins away from the hotel, 10 mins to the Taurito beach. The reception staff is very friendly and open to help anytime.
location is good as each room as a view. Evening meals were also good, with some nice variety. And cleanliness was fantastic, with a hard working team making sure the hotel looks good.
It's a great place if you're into water parks, the beach is lovely aswell, the hotel is nice and clean and the food is good. There are loads of shops, farmacies, supermarket.
A bit outdated but still comfortable with friendly staff and quiet neighborhood. Maybe except one night when there was a disco party in the hotel nearby ;-)
