We were driving towards València and wanted to take a break halfway. The hotel is amazing, everything is brand new, the rooms are spacious and super clean, the spa is great and the outdoor swimming pool and the gym are superb. The staff is very friendly too.
Hostal Gran Avenida is 750 metres from Tarancón Train Station. At 80 km from Madrid, it has easy access to the A-3 Motorway, and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi.

Little court yard with trees and bushes was a lovely place to sit in the evening. Small wooden cabins are nicely presented.
The Motel San Isidro offers spacious wood cabins just off the A-3 motorway, 6 km from Tarancón. The air-conditioned rooms have free WiFi access, and there is free on-site parking.

Really clean room, very comfortable with fresh towels and lovely bedding including memory foam pillows. It was very quiet to sleep and parking was great and free just in front of hotel. Communication with host excellent and all room info and access codes sent in advance. Attached restaurant /bar really good too tho only had breakfast , but really tasty . All in all for price simply brilliant value.

Beautiful location in historic albeit almost deserted town of Ucles, imperial mansion converted to 3 apartments, well equipped kitchen and decent bathroom. Kids enjoyed the covered swimming pool in the patio most, BBQ, ping pong table and trampoline for small kids <8 yrs available there too. Lovely host Pilar was friendly, easy going and all smiles. Drinking water from public fountain just a minute walk away, restaurant serving breakfast from 10 am (! - a bit late but understandably as there are almost no permanent residents) and dinner till 22:30 at 2 minutes in the opposite direction.

We had a pleasant walk from the hostel through the park to the town centre, to finish off our day. There was little to see, but the visit served it's purpose as an overnight stopping point. We would not make a special visit to Tarancon for any other reason.
Beautiful location, conveniently situated for an overnight stopover driving from Northern Spain to the south of Spain. Very peaceful, surrounded by vineyards, the hotel is an elegant building with a pleasant courtyard. Lovely for a drink before dinner. Food was very good, reasonably priced wine (from the vineyard) and great staff, who coped remarkably well with our very poor Spanish. Good parking.
Our room was huge, very clean, with an excellent bathroom. We overlooked the outdoor swimming pool with lovely views across the vineyards.
The location with a working bodega was fantastic. Impressive entrance from the large car park. Lovely staff throughout the hotel. Great choice for meals in the bar/terrace area or the main restaurant. Great quality food with breakfast to die for. The hotel only serves it's own wines but they are incredible value for money.
In the heart of Spain surrounded by big landscapes a very nice hotel. Well maintained, good secure parking, and up to date touch electronics steering everything from lights down to your (amazing) shower. Smart tv much appreciated.

Although not booked as accessible there was plenty of access for our wheelchair.
