Absolutely fantastic place, found it by chance whilst travelling on the motorcycle though Southern Spain.
I wish I could have stayed longer to discover abundance of trails in the desert. Definitely coming back soon awesome place if you like bikes, host was excellent 👌 and Groot is a real specimen 😎😎😜 see you again soon!!!

The property was very clean, the owners helped with the car parking which is a bit complicated. The “town” is very small and this is pretty much in the middle of it.

Lovely little apartment. On the main street so not far to bus stop, shops. The fort was easy walking distant too.
Kitchen had good facilities, including coffee maker but no kettle..
If we head back to Tapernas again, I'll happily stay there again.⁸

The town was easy to find. Easy to find as the hostal name was very clear as we drove through. Room was nice and cool on arrival, extremely clean, tidy and comfortable with a very nice showroom and a small balcony. We also had a small fridge in the room which we appreciated to keep drinks cool as it was very warm. It also had aircom which helped us sleep in comfort overnight.
There is a very good fuel station at the far end of the town. The restaurant we went to was closer to the beginning of town. We thought this was perfect for an overnight or a few days stay it would have been nice to see all the town open.
Hotel Balneario Sierra Alhamilla is a restored Moorish building, with a traditional central courtyard. The hotel has a spa, using natural thermal waters from the Sierra Alhamilla Mountains.

It is a unique place to stay up in the mountains. The staff were brilliant especially the lady who checked us in and served dinner and wine to us.
Offering mountain views, Cortijo 4 Elementos is located in Lucainena de las Torres. The guest house offers individually decorated rooms with a sofa and flat-screen TV.

It was very clean and big enough (like a small apartment) and the location is situated at a very restful place. There is also a big pool and chilling area.
The owner was also very kind like his volunteers.
If you want breakfast it can be arranged for a very small price (the owner makes the best eggs 👌🏻) or you have a kitchen were you can cook your own meals.
Definitely a recommendation!

Tabernas is a one-horse town, sleepy and very Spanish.
Tabernas is a one-horse town, sleepy and very Spanish. Not much goes on here but who cares? The place is good for prices then you explore from here.
It has all the shops you need for food, fuel and other stuff.
The town is on the edge of a desert so expect those kinds of conditions.

Tabernas is a quaint, one-horse town but is conveniently located for the Hollywood/Cowboy experience nearby, as well as the 2 race tracks 10 minutes away.
It has all the amenities needed for the stay but is best used as a base to explore the region.

Welcome from lady, in saloon was very abrupt. I understand why as she was waiting for show in saloon to start. Would have loved to have the facility to make a hot drink in cabin, including a couple of cups. Even though the facilities were basic, we laughed so much at the performances. Customer care however does need some attention, predominantly led by the manager who initially greeted us, other staff were polite, but unfortunately she needed some tuition in customer care

We visit frequently to take part in Western activities.
This particular weekend was the annual film festival and even with covid we had a wonderful long weekend.
Plan to go back again for another Western weekend in November.

Casa Rural Jardín is in the centre of a traditional Andalusian town with narrow streets and alleys all around. The hotel is run by the owners and is immaculate in its presentation. the rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a wide choice of local specialties for breakfast and if the owners invite you for Paella then you are in for a real treat. The hotel also has a private and secure garage attached big enough for two cars and five or six motorcycles.
We stayed in Lechin Casa, one of several available. Beautiful inside and out, clean, comfortable beds, centrally heated aswell as a lovely wood burner, good kitchen facilities, secure site and good parking. Bars and Restaurants nearby in walking distance.
Numerous Bars, Restaurants, Supermarkets everything to hand a few minutes drive away in Tabernas, around 30 minutes walk 😃
Lovely apartment. Very fresh, modern, well furnished and clean. Independent AC in every room. Incredibly quiet and comfortable. Best nights sleep I've had in a long time. Location is good if you're looking to explore tabernas desert or Fort Bravos or the other western style attractions nearby. There is ample parking in front of the apartment.
Great value for money. I was impressed by the en suite bathroom. Looks like the hotel has been refurbished not too long ago. Plenty of on street parking nearby.
