I usually stay at the main galeon. But it was fully booked so me and my friend who had never been to sitges before stayed at the annexe part at the back. It was a lot newer and over in some ways for example the private balcony with the jacuzzi was great and the fact that our room had a balcony. In room

Location was fantastic - 2 minutes walk from train station, and 5 minutes from the bars and restaurants, and 15 minutes to the beach. Although it was so near to the amenities, it was a peaceful place to stay. The building itself was beautiful and traditional, with beautiful staircases. Our bed was soooo comfortable! Breakfast was amazing with a large variety of options to choose from.

The location of Parrots hotel is perfect. 5/10 mins from the train station. A few mins from the beach. Perfect for bars and restaurants. Our room was on the top floor and at the back so we had a quiet stay. If we were at the front it might have been different as with pride approaching it was busy. Breakfast was great. Nothing was too much trouble for the cook who was very friendly.

Stiges is a town were everyone we encountered seemed to be very kind and accepting of others without judgement. There are plenty of historic sites in old town. There is a lovely Romanesque staircase that connects the 17th century Esglesia de Sant Bartomeu with the Marina promenade with stone benches at the top of each flight where we sat and just enjoyed the Mediterranean and watching people for hours. The food is varied from traditional Spanish to just about anything else and there were many bars that looked like they would get pretty lively at night. I bought a lovely hand made bag, Mediterranean blue, from Anna at Melmelada de Maduixa Calle St. Josep 16. Anna is sweet and humble and her bags, which she is working on as you walk in, are fantastic! I will be back to Sitges. I needed more time.

It's an ideal beach town.
It's an ideal beach town. The pace is slower than Barcelona and I prefer this. At every restaurant we ate, the food was tasty and well prepared. The waiters are all friendly. The language barrier (no English spoken) made communicating in the restaurants and shops difficult.

It's got history, large sections are pretty, it's on the coast, with a great beach, loads of restaurants and bars, fab shops, a train station with trains direct to Barcelona (40 mins), and going west too!... and you can be who you want to be here, you're not judged and it has a great vibe for all ages and types. It's a happy place and the Brighton of Barcelona. Well worth the long weekend we spent there.

I loved this town 30 min. south weat of Barcelona by train. Lots to see and do. Wonderful places to eat and beautiful beaches. The old town is charming and with lots of stops and tourist venues. Very easy to get around on foot. Seemed like a very gay friendly place, with lots of couples enjoying this beautiful town by the sea. People of all ages enjoyed this charming town and being on the main rail line allows easy access to all parts of this area of Spain.
Sitges has lots of festivals throughout the year and is full of character and history. Wonderful Tourist Office near central train/bus station with helpful staff, and lots of useful tourist materials. Felt very safe as a solo traveller, and not speaking Spanish, etc, was not a problem.

I returned to Sitges after a 6-year break and, just like before, the city delighted me again. Charming, quiet streets, a long, beautiful promenade by the sea, clean beaches. The city offers many interesting places to visit. Great restaurants, clubs and bars, everyone will find something for themselves. .I will definitely visit Sitges again.

Cute town, only half hour away from Barcelona. Great nightlife and lots of bars, cafes and shops. It could be a destinations on its own or it can be used as a base to explore Barcelona, given the proximity to the city. But way cleaner, friendlier and safer than Barcelona.
A lovely hotel, just a few metres away from the sandy beach. If you are lucky enough or you book, book the sea view rooms. The room itself was very small but had everything we needed and we didnt come to stay indoors. Cleaning done every day, good water pressure at the shower, lovely buffet breakfast with a wide variety of dishes. 40 min away from Barcelona by train (commuter train Rodalies, came every 10 or so minutes, very frequent). Sitges is a lovely small city and in the summer I think it s even nicer.
The Liberty Hotel is situated conveniently to the train station, and is just a few blocks from the beach and the many cafes and shops.
Ditmar, the host, is totally welcoming and charming. He asked us every day “Are you happy?”. And every day we said “YES !” The staff—Jose and Luciano and S’aoul—are all cheerful and attentive. The hotel is immaculate. The breakfasts-we ate in the lovely garden—are plentiful and delicious.
We didn’t want to leave—and we will come back !
Family of 4 (two teenagers) we loved the great location, 2 mins from beautiful beach. 5-10 mins shops bars and restaurants of lovely Sitges. 15-20 mins to train station for train to Barcelona (approx 45min train journey) Our garden apartment was basic but clean, easy access overlooking pool. Friendly, helpful staff at our check-in. We were able to leave our bags in reception for the day after 10 am check out. Recommend AlCapone pizza restaurant at the hotel
I have known the Subur Hotel for almost 20 years and it is always a good option in Sitges due to its location, right in town and in front of the beach. The facilities are simply but functional and the hotel is quite clean. Only the prices seem to me quite high for a 3 stars hotel, between 140-160 euros per night in a single room and without breakfast. I think at least they could offer a small breakfast, or a coffee or something.
The location could not be better. It was a stones throw from the beach. The staff were so helpful, pleasant and friendly and made guests feel that nothing was a bother. The hotel was exceptionally clean. Rooms were cleaned every day, beds were made and towels replaced where necessary. The roof top pool was lovely. Breakfasts were very good with lots of choice. Sitges is wonderful place, and you cannot help but relax.
Great location in a quiet side street in the centre of Sitges. Beach, restaurants and the nightlife only a short distance away. Staff were lovely and friendly, always making sure everything was ok. Rooms are very well done and stylish compared to the normal holiday hotels in Sitges. Great to be able to support a local gay business. This rustic hotel is located close to the Sitges railway station and at a walking distance from the town center and the beaches. It's beautifully decorated with antique furniture, and the restaurant is in the garden adjacent to the building. The room was comfortable, and breakfast was good. Given the prices of hotels during high season, this was great value for money.
The Breakfast provided was excellent - so many choices & friendly staff. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the train station & also to the airport bus. A short walk to the beachfront & museums also cafes galore & lots of shops. Sitges is a lovely place - so glad that we had the opportunity to visit it 👏 Tourist Information Centre very helpful 👍
We were relocated to Hotel Romantica their twin hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is very close to the beach and centred in the old town. Best breakfast in Spain and we have stayed in many hotels in Spain. Thanks for everything

Very nice and helpful staff who gave us great advice regarding beaches etc. We were also allowed to borrow sun umbrellas and beach chairs. The hotel is located in a central spot of Sitges but the street is quiet. Breakfast is good quality for the price. We would come back.
You can't beat the location of Parrots Hotel if you are a gay traveller looking to experience the best Sitges has to offer. Located right in the heart of all the action, Parrots Hotel is a great choice. I appreciated the breakfasts include and would recommend them.
Perfect location. We got a bus from the airport, short walk and we arrived at a lovely hotel, over the road from the beach. We got the train in to city centre one day. The town of sitges is just lovely. Recommended to everyone!
