Pool was lovely, the bedroom downstairs was not habitable as their was a very stale / damp smell, same in the dinning room that we didn’t use. To be clear, this was no fault of the cleaners.

The town of Sineu is small but absolutely stunning, the architecture and narrow streets were extremely picturesque. For such a small town, there was a good selection of traditional Mallorcan restaurants to choose from, all serving excellent food at very reasonable prices. When we stayed, the town was getting ready for their annual fiesta, but the rest of the time it was really quiet and chilled. The market held every Wednesday was excellent and made the town come to life. The only downside is the location. Being in the centre of the island, getting home from an evening somewhere on the coast can be tricky. Therefore we had to ensure we were back before the last train which ran until 10:20pm from Palma. Overall, the town feels like a real undiscovered gem which in a few years’ time will likely be a tourist hotspot in peak season. Definitely worth a visit (or a stay).

Very lovely authentic Majorcan house with individual rooms in a lovely small village. Good location to discover the island and start biking tours. Very nice, welcoming hosts who make you feel like you’re at home. Beautiful terrace with a wonderful view on the mountains. Delicious and freshly made breakfast!!!

A nice town overall with a lovely old town and Placa. Good vibe provided by local residents rather than tourists with plenty of decent bars and restaurants. Great location on the island. Easy to access pretty much everywhere. Even has rail access to Palma.

The reason we stayed in Sineu is because it was close to the venue of a wedding we were going to. It is charming and very quiet. There is a nice piazza with a few bars and cafes. However I probably wouldn’t return to Sineu as I prefer a more lively atmosphere. Villa Sa Barcella made the trip to Sineu and I would definitely recommend anyone travelling to Sineu to stay at Sa Barcella
I can highly recommend Es Picarol. We had such a great stay! Carl and José are such wonderful, lovely and caring hosts and you feel like you are on vacation, visiting friends. The hotel is so beautiful, and decorated with so much attention to detail, each room is unique .... The stay here made our short trip very special... the beautiful courtyard is so inviting and the breakfast is incredibly delicious and fresh. And then a wagging tail greets you in the morning... Simba is the icing on the cake... how can you not feel at home here?
Es Picarol Sineu is an exceptionally well- run hotel.
The owners, Carl and Jose go out of their way to make one welcome, as does Samba, the family dog.
The breakfast is amazing! I thoroughly recommend the Avocado Toast.
The welcoming attitude is typical of the inhabitants of Sineu, who do all they can to make you feel at home.
I definitely intend returning to Es Picarol Sineu. It is like a bell that keeps beckoning.

Lovely finca set in a big garden surrounded by an olive grove in central Mallorca near the market town of Sineu.
4 good sized bedrooms one of which was en-suite, a very large living-dining area with tall ceilings plus a kitchen, additional bathroom and an outhouse.
We loved the terraces, sun beds and pool, although wished the pool was heated as the water was very cold, swimming in it is not for the faint hearted!
The hotel is located right on the main square so you go down the stairs and you can have breakfast right in the very center of the town. There's local market on Wednesdays as well.
Apart of the nice places on the main square, they have a quite famous authentic restaurant downstairs right in the building! (the menu was a bit tricky to navigate since I'm vegetarian, but overall experience was OK)
Love the people who work at the hotel! I was arriving late and Antonia setup fresh bread, cheese, grapes and wine for me to enjoy in my room. I sat in my robe and devoured it. Divine! The design, decor, pool & dining area and of course food & service. Having breakfast and lunch in the courtyard was fantastic. Fresh squeezed orange juice in the Mallorcan sun just tastes better!
The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a hotel, they kindly brought me out a little cake for my birthday .The staff were super friendly and the decor around the hotel made it feel luxurious and green. Highly recommend anyone that wants to stay in a top hotel in a cute Spanish village. Plenty of local food around but the restaurant in the hotel looks great as well.
Everything was perfect. The best thing was the owners. They welcome every guest personally. Even land us their car for one day trip to Cala Lombards since there is no car rental in Sineu. Room is spacious and nice design. The house is also very beautiful has only 10 rooms. Poolside is amazing. They also have very nice gym. The best experience we had.
I had a nice stay, quite one level up from the street. The hotel is situated in a nice plaza close to an old church, beautiful!
The breakfast was in an restaurant next door, good quality juice, bread and coffee, just perfect.
The owners are very friendly and helpful to answer questions, I good leave my luggage by checking out and pick it up later.
The owners are so sweet and so helpful! We could not have asked for a better place to unwind and recharge our batteries. The Villa is in the gorgeous old town Sineau, which has a stunning cathedral and a fantastic market every Wednesday from 8 AM - 1 PM. We will definitely be back at Hotel Villa Sa Barcella :D The breakfast as well, was so good!
Such a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful. A modern and chic gem in the middle of quaint and historic Sineu. The staff was amazing - friendly, helpful and so kind. Food was an unexpected treat - top quality, so delicious and some of the best food we had while in Mallorca. 10/10 would recommend!
It was amazing stay, the house is fantastic,location just perfect and Sineu is very lovely.The place which we definitely gonna miss.I was grown up in country house with animals too so its very nostalgic to me.Palma de Mallorca is very nice place too,beautiful,quiet and cosy 😊
The facilities, pool, location, owner, everything! Perfect for a group or family, loved this place and perfectly located (if you have a car). Not a touristy area but close to beautiful Sineu and only about 20-30mins to lots of beaches and other sights.
