Have stayed here a few times now over many years. Although it’s outside the town, it’s a short walk, it’s easy to park, always clean, excellent staff, have always had a great experience and would love to stay again. Adore the town, plenty of bars and restaurants, although quiet for our visit, here for the birds which are always fantastic. If you’ve never been here please visit.
Offering free Wi-Fi and a 12th century facade, Posada de San Millán has lovely gardens with views of Sepulveda. The impressive Hoces del Rio Duratón National Park is a 10-minute walk away.

Millán was so helpful and the property is absolutely stunning. It was very old and charming but remained spotlessly clean! Millán went out of his way for us and treated us so very well. The little town is beautiful.

The owner and cook was so lovely. She was extremely caring and sweet and cooked an amazing lamb tangine for us at night ( the hotel has a restaurant). The breakfast was also very nice, particularly the freshly cooked eggs and small pancake-like things. The room was very clean and comfortable. All in all a great stay!

Perched on the top of a mountain, a typical Spanish town.
Perched on the top of a mountain, a typical Spanish town. Many restaurants with very good to excellent Castilian food. A great base to visit the Hoches de Duraton National Park where eagles, vultures and other birds abound over and in a deep gorge. The National Parks Visitor Centre has a brilliant display and very worth visiting. The weekend we visited was Fiesta time which was great noisy fun. Not too far to drive to the city of Segovia which has an amazing aqueduct, a wonderful castle and lovely cathedral.

Very welcoming people though very little English spoken...
Very welcoming people though very little English spoken except for Millan at the Posada. Ancient town and main square with an excellent atmosphere. Enquires reveal that very few British tourists visit and I have to say they should. As a visitor to numerous towns and cities throughout Spain I can say that Sepulveda is amongst the best. This was a stopover and I did not have time to do the usual tourist things but fully intend to return to do so. A walk around the town and dinner in Plaza Mayor was a delight. Loved it!

A lovely little Spanish town. Very quiet and typical.
A lovely little Spanish town. Very quiet and typical. For those who enjoy wandering along narrow medieval streets and observe curious ancient buildings. Very good Segovia food, but the prices are like in Madrid (in winter too).
Quaint historic and central hotel which had great room facilities. No real reception but pleasant hostess but we have no Spanish. No meals were available but good kitchen facilities with fresh fruit provided. There is a handy grocer and a bakery next door. Great views of the town square from the kitchen and country views from the room. Many good eating places nearby and close to to the spectacular Hoches de Duraton National Park.
A lovely old building, beautifully restored, only a few minutes from the centre of the interesting town of Sepulveda. Plenty of free parking for the hotel. Millan, our host, speaks very good English. He was very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic, typically Spanish and excellent quality. And there's amazing scenery close to the town if you want to explore.
The older woman at the desk when we arrived was rude. She would only speak to my son (who spoke very little Spanish) and refused to even look at me (his mom), who spoke Spanish. I thought this kind of attitude was gone but apparently not in small towns in Spain. The hotel was lovely, comfortable, affordable.
The location is quite isolated but very close to Sepulveda which is why we wanted to visit. The owners Victoria and her husband were so welcoming and kind I cannot recommend s there mhospitality enough. The hotel is very old world Spanish and emaculate.
The room was large and comfortable, hotel location was a short walk from the main square where there is a small pub, some restaurants and a shop. A nice light breakfast was offered at a good price. The family who run the hotel were lovely.
