Hotel Colón offered us the most authentic Spanish experiece. Situated in a central area, close to Plaza de Torros and the Alameda del Tajo (an amazing park with a breathtaking view), the hotel is very intimate and cozy. Our room was quite spacious and extremely clean, with a nice view of the church in front of the hotel. We were impressed by the excellent services that we got. Room was cleaned every day, there were all the needed bath amenities and the beds were large and providing a good sleep.
Many thanks and appreciation to the hotel staff, who welcomed us with kindness and smiles. Especially to Mrs. Carmen, who assured that we had the best staying. She gave us recommendations of places to visit and to eat - the best tapas bar ever: Bodega San Francisco. For a real experience, sit at the bar and watch the staff doing their magic.
Breakfast is the same every day, with basics, but it also keeps the authenticity of the local community. We most appreciated that locals are coming here often to drink their coffee, read their newspaper or share latest news.
It was an unforgettable experience at Hotel Colón!
We’d really like to come back one day.

Lovely places to visit, aside from the impressive Ronda Bridge, the highlight was the Bull Ring. Good restaurants most a little expensive, must eat at is Restaurant Arrabel great views (100E for 2 people). Easy walking, and if you have a car it is great to see the stunning scenery and glorious white villages of the Ronda nearby.

We used this as a base to explore. Spent a day in Gibralter which is not a bad day trip and worth it if it's something you want to do. If you're wondering if the walk all the way down to lower viewpoint of the bridge at sunset is worth it, the answer is so much yes.

I would say you need 1.5 days to see sights of Ronda at a reasonable pace. We utilised Ronda as a base to visit other places which were only short drives away: Setenil de las Bodegas, Olvera, Acinipo and Zahara. All of which were memorable as Ronda.
Favourite place to eat in Ronda by far is Taperia San Francisco, amazing local bar with fabulous food at a very reasonable price
