The hotel let us do early check in which was very nice after a long flight. The location is super convenient bec of the metro station behind it. It is away from the touristy madness but easily accessible.

From my one time experience at Ibis Ripollet, you'll get the best out of a two star hotel possible. The value for money is great, the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are good, clean and with everything you'll need (for the price). The accessibilities into Barcelona are great (using a car on a weekend). The area did feel a bit "unsafe" when we got there (late at night) but not during the day.
The bed was really comfortable - we slept well. The air conditioning was effective and quiet. We stayed during a heatwave where the outside temperature reached 37 degrees so this was really welcome! Breakfast was good and we also had our evening meals at the hotel. There were a few vegetarian dishes to choose from. The staff were helpful and friendly. They even had directions on how to reach the Circuit de Catalunya printed out in several languages as they had a number of F1 fans staying for the weekend
Staff is friendly, everything is clean. The breakfast is excellent; it is fresh and good. There are restaurants near to the hotel, and they are good. For instance , A pizza place in the downtown of Ripollet. They offer a variety of food, and not just pizza. It is faraway from Barcelona downtown, but you can take a bus in front of the hotel then the subway; it will take around 30 minutes to get there.
We liked our stay at Ibis as our dog really could enjoy the open space and the park just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was also nice but missed the scrambled eggs :) Location is nice as it is closer to the motorway, but it can take 20 minutes to reach Barcelona if no traffic otherwise more.
The hotel is excellent value for money, considering the prices in Barcelona city center. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the area is quiet and still you cand find whatever you want around and with a bit of research you have connections to the city centre.

The location is not at the center, however the train station is close to the hotel, so there is no problem to get to the city center
Hotel is located in strange area but really good is underground parking. Breakfast is quite good according to IBIS hotel.
