The manager/proprietor was exceptionally friendly but professional. The room was actually a suite with sitting room, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Our breakfast was included in the price. We decided to have an evening meal in the hotel dining room, which was well cooked and presented.

This is a no nonsense functional hotel, aimed mainly at visitors to the nearby industrial units. It is very well supported by the local people for the really good food on offer! It is a great stop off on the way to the ferry at Santander. We were made really welcome! They even provided a free self serve breakfast, even though the cafe was closed on that Sunday.
The room was OK, no frills but tremendous value.

This beautiful hotel has been in the same family for hundreds of years, and the building itself goes back to around 976. It is the oldest house in the village and is full of charm and history, as well as being spacious and comfortable. The owner was very interesting and helpful.

Hotel Vejo is conveniently located to the A67 and is ideal for a short or overnight stop. Reinosa is a typical industrial town which is a fairly short walk for the fit but would be problematic for those with mobility issues. Nothing much near bye except for some small cafes , garage, hospital and a mercadona supermarket. Reinosa town centre is well worth visiting subject to these limitations. A car or taxi would be an alternative! It should be said that it is an ideal base to visit Alto Campoo and it’s beautiful valley and villages. All in all it offers a great deal!

Location for overnight stop for Santandar ferry the following day was good (45 mins drive to port). Location from motorway easy to find. Cafe food and drink was good. I should have asked for a non smoking room as room smelt of smoke but will remember to ask for in Spain next time. Clean room although it needed a little attention but for the cost of the room it was good value.

The good thing about the location is its abundance of superb scenery within a 15 mile radius and beyond if you like exploring , Reinosa itself is a surprisingly vibrant town with lots to take in , Weather permitting ,and local mountains are stunning if you take a ride to the top , but beware of farm type animals wandering throughout the hills and roads ,
A few months ago I booked via the hotel website. This was confirmed but apparently not per email. On the day of travel, I could not find any communication. As the hotel website stated that there were no rooms left I decided to check booking.com and yes, one room was still available. The excellent receptionist confirmed that all standard rooms were taken but would give us an upgrade. This, of course, is appreciated.
On arrival, the Hotel appeared a little disappointing, but i was so wrong the Rooms were very tidy and the staff were very friendly (the lady that looked after us was lovely, unfortunately i didn't get her name but she worked behind the bar and had dyed red hair, wonderful) some of the other reviews mentioned simple food. I thought it was great and large portions
Evening meal was excellent. There was a birthday party being held for a villager and the atmosphere was very good. We were made quite welcome. Breakfast was good. Location was very good for our onward travel. The Hotelier spoke no English but he made us very welcome and provided secure parking for the 5 motorcycles in our group.
The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I'd eat there again. Reinosa isn't the most special place (other than the reservoir and the social history of the "Reinosa incident ") but this is a very handy stop off for Santander. Take either the N611 for a great ride! Good for motorcycle or cycling.
The location. It was a short walk to the bars and restaurants in the centre of Reinosa. We could park right outside for free. The rooms and bathrooms had all the amenities and were very clean and comfortable. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful. We also had breakfast included
Cheap hotel, in good order, clean, attentive staff, respectable breakfast.
Close to town centre and evening restaurants.
Others may pick faults but for the price, I was more than happy with Hotel San Roque
Very well situated hotel close to motorway. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was of good quality and good value. There was plenty of choice for the included continental breakfast.
Awesome location, right in the center of Reinosa and next to a beautiful park. The apartment is cozy, warm and well equipped with appliances. No issues.
