Jose is always friendly and welcoming. The main building is very atmospheric, the room attractive and a good view from the balcony. It's in a nice setting in an attractive village. We've stayed four times now before or after a ferry crossing.

Beautiful building within the walls of an old property. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom great. We were initially disappointed to learn that the restaurant was not open but were offered items from the tasting menu for dinner, all of which were delicious. We plan to return.
Set on a large estate with extensive gardens and protected woodland, Parador de Limpias is in the Cantabrian country town of Limpias. It has an outdoor pool, tennis courts and a padel court.

Wonderful period property full of character and history. Rooms were in the extended more modern wing. Restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner (we now book the half board option and can relax rather than stressing out trying to find local food options.

It's a typical northern Spain village - quiet, no shops these days but at least a very happy village pub, the Camino Real, which provides beer, good basic food and a fine welcome from the publican Nacho and his wife. It's the heart and soul of the village.
This was one of our favourite stays during our two week trip in to France and Spain. What a gem. A very, very nice little hotel in a small quiet village, with extremely friendly staff, lovely and clean and a pool to cool down in. The meals were great too.
