The location was just incredible, we sat outside with a glass of wine in beautiful surroundings looking at snow-capped mountains. The cave itself was well equipped, and very comfortable. We were sad to only stay for one night!

We found three good places to eat, the Taberna in the main street that does very good value for money menu del dia. Also the hostal just up the road from the taberna, quick and tasty, especially the chicken wings, and the platter of mixed fresh vegetables was divine and worth waiting for. then another restaurant on the way out of town called Tinaja which is very good.

Excellent accommodation, our cave was well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine
Everything supplied was appreciated, water, milk in the fridge , snacks , tea bags and coffee also provide.
The bathroom was well equipped and a supply of shampoos and gels were also provided .
the apartment and the place overall were great, but the key of the best Spanish vacation was Sr Manuel - the manager of Almagruz. He showed us the Almagruz Cave museum and even helped my little one make paper on her own. He also showed us around the eare and took us to el Fin del Mundo. He has food recommendations and keeps the atmosphere of the hotel feel like amusement park, but a quiet and comfortable one. I'll surely be back at the place!
For a completely different experience to coastal Spain it's well worth a visit. Really spacious 'cave' accommodation that was incredibly atmospheric, cosy and well-appointed. We loved the museum (a free guided tour was included) and the fact you could walk from the hotel and see the old caves carved into the hillsides. The pool was clean and swimming towels were provided, which was an unexpected bonus.
The property was so unique and very close to Purullena town. Was very easy to get to the Badlands for hiking from the hotel. The room was extremely spacious with a full kitchen and living room area.
