Beautiful hotel literally off the beach but with two swimming pools. Staff were all highly professional and helpful. Our room wasn’t sea view, but we had a lovely view of the second pool and gardens.
Breakfast was fantastic and we ended up having dinner one night, whilst a little bright in the restaurant the food and selection was great, good value for money and they even provide me with a gluten free desert without my asking. A treat not granted in most restaurants. There was even evening music for after dinner.
I also did yoga outside an added and unexpected bonus thanks to the lovely Sophia! Despite being quite large the hotel never felt over crowded.
The S’Arenal Apartments are located in an unspoilt part of northern Ibiza. They enjoy views of the bay of Portinatx, and have direct access to the beach and free Wi-Fi.

Gorgeous location overlooking the sea and in a rural setting. The pool and sun beds were all very private so it never felt overly busy.

Very nice beach and two pools. Nice location however half an hour drive to the airport. Reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely pretty little resort. Ideal for couples and families who want a relaxing beach holiday away from anything too noisy and busy. It has a decent selection of restaurants and a few bars, three little mini supermarkets and a cash point, although avoid using this it you can as the withdrawal fees are pricey. Better to use an ATM at a bank in a larger town and do your research on which ones have the cheaper fees. There is a big wooded hill near the resort, which makes for a very dramatic backdrop. Has a lovely coastal walk from the resort to the lighthouse a few miles up the coast. That is definitely worth the effort, but needs proper footwear to do it, sport sandals or trainers.
Lovely little beach surrounded by pine trees in an enclosed bay, so the water is very calm.
I loved my time in Portinatx and would definitely go back there.

Portinatx is the perfect place to stay for those who have no interest in discos or large crowds of British tourists. Most of the visitors appeared to be Spanish, with some British, French and Germans and a sprinkling of other nationalities. It is visually very attractive. We used buses to get to Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town, which worked well.

Lovely small resort village in the northest part of Ibiza, nice choice for people our aged (30+). We found surprisingly good and hip restaurants such as Rebrots and Los Enamorados. Traditional italian restaurant Can Amuri by the beach was also nice. We rented a scooter to get to beautiful nearby beaches such as Cala Xarraca and Cala d’en Serra with an interesting unfinished hotel’s remains full of street art.

Everything outside of the hotel minutes away, perfect for slow walkers or those who can’t walk far. All on doorstep but hotel has everything anyway. Great beach, not too many hiking options apart from the lighthouse but if you really just want peace, read a couple of books and chill Portinaxt is the resort to go.

Fairly quiet and not too commercialised. Charges for beach loungers and umbrellas expensive. Safe swimming areas and clean water. Not over run with bars and restaurants…big plus.
Easy quick run to airport .
Beach needed cleaning more regularly.
There always seemed to be loud music somewhere,about time they stopped this as it’s not required and they also should ban smoking as it’s so anti social these days and should not be tolerated.

Portinatx is a lovely quiet town with really nice restaurants, bars and beaches. Plenty of variety for eating and drinking. Good shops for groceries. Beautiful views.
We were a group of 6, 3 couples and it was a perfect location for us. Buses to the clubs were cheap and easy, taxis back were also easy and not too pricey.

Very simple and functional apartments in gorgeous location - one of the most beautiful beaches in the north of Ibiza, not overly crowded, a volley ball net and enough space for families to play in the sand! very friendly and helpful staff. good value for money with amazing location. if you don’t want to prepare your breakfast every day you can have a very good continental breakfast in the small hotel next door.
