The hotel is in an excellent location, we also took a room with a sea view which was excellent. The hotel has an arrangement (for an additional fee) with a parking lot and another large parking lot, but you can also park in the public parking lots (for a fee) at the entrance to the town and walk - it's not a long distance, especially if you don't intend to move the car a lot. The room was spacious, clean and cozy. We only arrived for one night so we didn't get to use the roof and the pool but it looked nice overall. The hotel reception representatives were very nice and kind and the hotel service manager also got in touch immediately when she saw our response to the feedback that was sent to us about two hours after receiving the
room (nice).
We want to thank the service manager at the hotel who came to talk to us during check-out and stated that they will make every effort during our next stay at the hotel, I think we will be happy to return

Platja d’Aro is very easy to access from the AP7 by road and...
Platja d’Aro is very easy to access from the AP7 by road and is not far from Girona. It is modern and has a long sandy tree lined beach and also a very pretty smaller one. It has good shops and a nice variety of ones selling clothes. There are an excellent choice of restaurants with very good quality of food. Lots of places to sit outside enjoying tapas. One of my favourites on the Costa Brava.

I have had a property near to Platja D'aro for over 20 years...
I have had a property near to Platja D'aro for over 20 years and make regular visits always taking in Platja D'aro on a few occasions as it has a great choice of restaurants. It has a great water park for kids although it is a little expensive. If you are inclined to visit a little further afield there are many great beaches and small coves and restaurants that make the Costa Brava so exceptional but you do need a car. Taxis are expensive and public transport is almost non-existent

Loved the area, town was buzzing with lots of shops and restaurants and funfair. Very busy at the weekend, hard to a table in a restaurant without queuing.
Not very English oriented, not many English speaking people so be prepared to try to learn a bit of Spanish. Beach at Playa d'aro was coarse but with lots of water sports and restaurants on the promenade. Coast was gorgeous with lots of walks and coves to discover. Easy walk to S'agaro with nice small town and gorgeous sandy beach, lots of water sports.

In the Argentinian Steak House. Nice clothes shops. Also shops with normal sea side stuff. The road with shops etc is set back one line from main beach. There is a long main beach and also the small pretty cove we stayed in.

I come to Platja d’Aro for 40 years.
I come to Platja d’Aro for 40 years. Lovely for a family with children and now as a couple with dogs. Lovely beach and there is the perfect restaurant Els Tinars in Llagostera. Also here I come for 40 years. Can highly recommend!
Amazing location, right next to the shops and restaurants and 4 mins walk from the beach. The beds were super comfy and the living area was spacious. The accommodation was spotless and we loved being able to use the facilities at hotel San Jorge.
We will definitely be back!

Charming hotel right on the seafront. Nice continental breakfast every day listening to the sea. The pool was small but warm and fine for our 4year old and we had it to ourselves most days. Staff were really friendly and when we did have lunch/dinner here it was excellent too. Right outside are some Roman ruins as well and the town is only a 10min walk.
This is our second time staying at these apartments in Costa Brava. The apartments feel new, are very clean and well appointed. The views and outdoor spaces are spectacular. There is paddle tennis next door, which is a fun thing to do with the family. It's an easy walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants are open in Platja D'Aro in the off season.
The location was excellent, in the middle of the town and 100 meters from the beach. Also nice to have a swimming pool in this area. The staff was friendly, the room was big enough and every day well cleaned. We booked a parking place, which was near the hotel. We are very satisfied about the price/quality and their communication via e-mail.
The reception staff is extremely helpful.
They let us check in earlier since we had a long travel, and we appreciated it a lot.
We had a chance to rent a car from the hotel which was very convenient and cheap.
The rooms were clean and quiet and the bed was super comfy.
the room was clean, locations is very good, not far from beach, the hotel is equipped with pool external, than can be converted to internal(movable Roof) and additional spa with pool indoor. Near very good restaurants. shower was as well excellent.
The location and views are exceptional. The staff is really friendly and the surroundings are great. I would recommend getting there by car and visit the nearby towns of Costa Brava. The hotel sits right at the top of the sea, it's like a dream.

Location right in heart of nightlife and yet only a few minutes from the beach.

Great location. Big comfortable room with lovely bathroom facilities. Right in the centre of town with great restaurants and beach a 5 minute walk away. Private parking for 7euros 5 minute walk from hotel.
Thank you to the staff who tried to do the best to somewhat make the stay bearable in this hotel. They don’t have much to work with.
