Great little hotel, clean room, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Camilo who works there is an absolute STAR!! I travelled to the hotel from Seville by bus and stupidly left my backpack on it. Once I told Camilo this he dropped what he was doing and set about retrieving it. It took most of the day (and a trip back to the city) but I eventually got my bag back. Basically, his kindness and determination saved my holiday. And for that I will always be grateful.

Fantastic tent. Very well equipped and clean. Hot in the day yes but cool at night. Yes there were a LOT of mosquitos but given the location, we expected this and brought very strong repellant which we reapplied a lot and kept the mosquito net firmly closed on the tent at all times. The pools were great. Grounds very well kept. Not much cellular service but with the views and peace- we did not mind at all. Comfortable with a dog.

We only went to Pilas for a wedding and our son in law’s family live there. It’s not really a place to stay unless you are exploring the surrounding area by car. Pilas itself is not really a tourist hot spot. The town has nothing of real historical interest to most travellers. It is a small regional town.
