I can't fault this place. Clean, great design and comfortable. Yolanda the host was hospitable, lovely and an uplifting presence. I would highly recommend staying here. It would be a great base for a few days if you wanted to do many of the walks/hikes in the area. Will be back in the summer!

Very nice location close to the River Sil Canyon with view several view points in the area. Very nice room with the heating and nice bathroom. Good view from the room. Staff very nice. Good internet connection. There is a little kitchen in the reception area and fridge which you can use. Public parking is available around the property.

This place is fantastic. Staying here feels more like visiting a good friend than staying in a hotel and the friendly staff makes you feel at home. Our room was large and nicely decorated and had comfortable beds. A delicious dinner and breakfast was served. Highly recommended!
My sister and I loved Casa O Torgal! We came to Parada de Sil in August when it was super hot. The hotel is in a lovely old stone building and is really cool inside even in 35C weather. The rooms are spacious and clean; the kitchen is well-stocked and there is a large and comfy lounge.
The owner was very kind and gave us lots of recommendations for walking and swimming.
Overall we loved Ribeira de Sacra: the scenery, food and hospitality were incredible. We highly recommend Casa O Torgal.
