If I stay in a hotel I do not pay for towels and toiletries are supplied. I was not paying 3 euros for their towels. I telephoned 10 times from 0730am to meet for the keys. Not until 1030am did they respond. The place is a cascina so there are no windows and it is a narrow rabbit warren of doors. The entrance hall smells rancid and the rest of the place the same. The stairs are 2 flights and very steep. The hall lights do not have halogen so in the dark you cannot find them,. The place is a health and safety hazard,. The couple are over bearing and no concept of when to go away. She tried to extract a deposit off me. I told her I was leaving. The 2 sofas have tatty snagged throw covers. I would not dare to sit on them. The furniture is awful. The sheets were crumpled and smelt. I got my covers from the car. There is paint daubed all over the place. Bath is gloss painted. Door handles, fridge door, it is a childish shambles and not suitable for rental. The shower hook is hanging off the wall and the shower out of date. If it was a joke I could laugh that when I tried to get out of the shower I put my foot in the toilet and my towel fell in the toilet. It is a cramped out of date bathroom, I only boiled water in the kitchen, There were blue bottles. Parking is a trek. It is not rural. It is a cascina in a pedestrian village. Not recommended, 10 hours too long

The landscape was just speechless! This house was much much better than it was shown in the pictures on the website. I didn’t imagine this place would be this good! Host are very helpful and has very high standards on living such as food, wines and interiors. If you love wines Alvar would recommend good wineries around there. Even the owner of winery was such a good person. Room condition was also very nice, smells of herb was so relaxing.
I love this place and would love to come back again!
There are so many places for tracking and if you go atracking Piga will be accompanied :-)

Montse is a wonderful host, she was so kind and welcoming.
Our breakfast and evening meal was delicious, and beautifully served.
The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable.
Our little dog loved her visit, everyday Montse's dogs and cats played with her.
The location is perfect for a relaxing break, beautiful scenery and lovely walks.

I liked everything, from the drive up the mountain and the first view of the village. The welcome at reception the food was delicious and the wine very good and locally sourced. The views from our balcony were fantastic. I regret not staying longer. The staff were very friendly, they spoke some English but mainly Catalun and forgave my poor attempts at the language. I hope to have the chance to stay here again.
