Gorgeous views down over the man made lake in the distance. Sizeable well furnished bedroom. Interesting to have a bull ring and mini church at the cortijo! Pleasant staff. Towels for pool. Serres white and rose wine nice. Lamb shank tasty. Breakfast was fine but fresh croissants would be a nice addition.

The house is lovely and very comfortable. Gemma had thought of everything and attention to detail was amazing. The decor was so lovely and suited the character of the house. Gemma’s friends/family were on hand to assist with unforeseen issues which was a big help.

The location is incredible. This is what we really wanted: not too many tourists, great views and independence. The owner, Adelaida, is an incredible and helpful person. 🥰

Great location, clean lots of walking. Visited white local towns and made use of kitchenette facility microwave, a kettle would be good too. Ate in the village and enjoyable stay whilst held up in the El Niño wet weather.
Set in beautiful gardens, this family-run country hotel provides a peaceful venue for a relaxing getaway in rural Andalusia. Located 15 minutes' drive from Ronda, it has a charming country setting.

The perfect place to disconnect. The owner was very nice and friendly. The house has everything you need for a perfect stay - patio with a breathtaking view, private swimming pool, sunbeds, table to eat outside. We also liked the little kitchenette. Everything is modern, very well designed and decorated. The breakfast was well arranged. Great bathroom amenities. Highly recommended.

The reason for visiting this area is to relax in the midst of nature so choosing a place to stay that provides this is all that is required to enjoy the area. Montecorto (the village) is beautiful but sleepy - you can't expect to do much here, but that is it's charm.

The hotel is some distance from Montecorto.
The hotel is some distance from Montecorto. The village itself has few amenities. The area is really for those that want peace and quiet or to hike, birdwatch or simply enjoy the scenery and nature. Ronda is around 12 km and the coast can be reached within an hour. Both have a selection of restaurants from simple cafes to high end. eateries.

A small town /large village with plenty of bars and couple of shops.
Being improved with a walkway while we stayed nearby.
Difficult to give overall view because we stayed in the time just before Covid lockdown so very quiet. But I would visit again
A very charming house with lovely owners that will make you feel right at home. You can see the attention to detail and the amount of work the family has put in to transform this place into what it is today. Montecorto is a perfect stop to discover the surroundings and the Sierra de Grazalema. We were surprised by its authentic charme and the well taken care of state of the town/pueblo. Special thanks to Floren for his kind welcome and advices that made our stay a truly wonderful experience. Would always recommend.
The food (and drink) at all the meals was excellent and the hotel took into account our specific dietary requirements. Our room was comfortable with a nice view. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable wine tasting - the sommelier was really informative and friendly. We also did a "sound bath" and the person who ran it was great. The setting was really beautiful - aspects were magical. It is somewhere I would be happy to go back to in the future.
The breakfast was very delicious, unlike any other we've had during our holiday. We loved all the homemade pesto, marmelade and other things. The fresh veggies and fruit and overall the great surroundings in terms of people and nature! Also the bed & breakfast itself is beautiful. So much care and love has gone into the design. Its really a special place. Montecorto is lovely and near many other nice places and a good place for visiting Ronda (just about 20 mins by car).
The hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by nature, very peaceful and yet not far from Ronda and Grazalema. The room was simple but neat and with local character. The staff was great in accommodating or special request as we were traveling with our 2 years old son. Breakfast was very rich. We alla had dinner twice at the restaurant, the food is simple but felt made and excellent vale for money. Definitely recommended!
We spent 2 nights at La Donaira in the beginning of May, and this was one of our best hotel experiences ever. And we have spent hundreds of nights at different 5-star hotels. The staff, the environment, the food, the service. Everything was absolute excellens and we're looking forward to coming back.
Was what it was, a rural hotel. Room was comfortable but only tepid water for a shower. Evening meal was good. Breakfast did not have fresh fruit or fruit juice. Poor choice of cereals. It's saving grace was its peaceful location and a great pool area.
Montecorto is a beautiful town with wonderful views of the mountains. The accomodation is quiet, clean and to a really high standard and quality. The hostess Adelaide is delightful and extremely helpful. Cannot recommend enough
The people, the place, the food-were perfect. We loved swimming and hiking up the hill behind the hotel. Girls gathered mulberries, found bird nests, played with other children-all added to sweet days in the countryside.
A beautiful setting for this lovely hotel. Everything was perfect, a spacious room with a lovely view and a comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. The breakfast was very good.
